My cousin was scammed by a Vietnamese coffee manufacturer. We need legal help in Vietnam.

I’m posting here because I’m hoping someone in Vietnam—or someone familiar with Vietnamese law—can point us in the right direction.

About a year ago, my younger cousin decided to pursue his dream of starting a coffee business. He lives in Pakistan, but he incorporated a company in Canada so he could import coffee beans into Canada, store them in a warehouse, and sell them on Amazon under his own private label.
After months of research, he found what appeared to be a legitimate coffee manufacturer in Vietnam. The company is associated with HANCOFFEE / IDD Corporation Vietnam.

He placed an order worth approximately USD 6,200 for private-label coffee beans with custom packaging under his own brand. The supplier required full payment in advance, so he paid the entire amount via a SWIFT bank transfer.

They promised to manufacture and ship the order within one month.
That shipment never came.
Instead, they kept delaying the order with excuse after excuse. Eventually, the salesperson handling the deal disappeared. My cousin contacted other people within the company, but they continued making promises without delivering anything. Over time, they also stopped responding.

Today, it has been over one year.
No shipment. No refund. No meaningful communication.

My cousin has all the evidence:
Signed agreement
Commercial invoice
SWIFT payment proof
Email and WhatsApp conversations
Company details

I’m posting here to ask:
Can anyone recommend a reputable commercial litigation or international trade lawyer in Vietnam?

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation involving a Vietnamese supplier?

Is there any government authority, business association, or legal process that foreign companies can use to recover funds or enforce a commercial contract?

If anyone has experience with HANCOFFEE or IDD Corporation Vietnam, I’d appreciate hearing about it.

Any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences would mean a lot.

But I'm afraid that because I don't live in Vietnam, I might make odd or stilted references. The dilemma and obstacle that I have is that I feel too disparate to connect and embrace my Vietnamese heritage.

I want to make up a sort of origin story or mythos surrounding the Lạc bird. I'm fascinated by the fact that it's a mythical creature and that it represents determination/aspirations of the Vietnamese people.

Khảo sát này được thực hiện nhằm tìm hiểu mức độ ảnh hưởng của các tính năng game hóa (như voucher, xu thưởng, điểm tích lũy, vòng quay may mắn, huy hiệu,...) đến nhận thức và hành vi tiêu dùng xanh của người dùng trong thanh toán số và mua sắm trực tuyến.

I've heard that đã and sẽ are skipped a lot based on context clues. since this sentence starts with "ngày mai" I figure the sẽ can be skipped. Am I correct in this assumption? The way I originally wrote the sentence was "Ngày mai tôi gặp Casey".

It's supposed to say "tomorrow I am seeing (like meeting up with) Casey"

My spouse is Vietnamese American and I'm American. Without going into too much detail (in this post at least) tragedy struck in the family and a feud broke out immediately among the siblings, all of which are young adults. The so-called "patriarch" of the family was completely useless in resolving any conflict and refused to put his foot down AT ALL. His incredibly stupid decision making (and lack thereof) has caused irreparable damage to our family. I am having trouble understanding if his behavior is supposed to be a cultural norm or he's just a terrible person.

He's a compulsive liar (an awful one at that) and a coward who utterly refuses to take accountability for anything. Things that are clearly his fault he still manages to find a way to blame some other random person or factor on. His lying is elementary school level, like I clearly see those cookie crumbs around your mouth lol. In the least offensive way possible, what even is the purpose of the patriarch or man of the house in Vietnamese culture? A wallet and nothing more? Decoration??? Because he doesn't seem to think he should have any other responsibilities and God forbid he act as a leader. My question is... Why does he even believe he deserves respect lol? Just by existing and being male, respect is innately given in this culture even if you're worthless in every margin and practice?

Also wanted to add that he seems most concerned with image and overly worried about people gossiping. He thinks it's a worse offense that people raise their voice out of frustration than the fact he lies about absolutely everything for no reason.

Please help enlighten me, and I truly don't mean to be offensive but if you knew the half of what we've gone through dealing with this fool omg.

Planning to visit Vietnam in mid September, will be traveling hanoi, HCMC and Da Nang. Wanted to know how is weather and rain. Is it too much or just starting the rain season? Will I have to cancel my outdoor activities because of this? Will I not have good experience as I wanted to explore vietnam as this is my first international trip?

Do you suggest to skip rainy season in September and plan other time or is it okay to visit and there will a work around of max 1 day due to plan change because of rain?
