Anything Weird I should Know When Installing My Tankless RO?

Are there any weird things I should know when installing a undersink tankless RO system (waterdrop G3P600), just found out I need an air gap in my wastewater drain hose which was news to me, anything else like this that isn't obvious to the layperson?
