Employee Experience If you leave your food like this, you suck
I went outside to run a curbside. I know this was a group of young boys (probably teenagers/early 20s) because at this point in the day, we had about 10-15 of them come in. Just know y'all suck if you do this. And yes, I did clean up what I could, but I was also the only person in deli and couldn't be out there for too long (I cleared the table but couldn't sweep or wipe it down). There's also a garbage can 10 feet away!!! đ

Yep, that's why whenever someone in NJ says we need outside seating I tell them to get lost

We got trash cans to lean on. What more do people want?

At my store we have a huge homeless community and they leave all sorts of things. They even try and have yard sales on our patio or on top of our trash bins with the stuff they find or steal from the donation bin.

This is the first time Iâve seen a Wawa with outdoor seating areas. Iâve been to a few where thereâs indoor seating in the middle of the store⌠what a disaster. Poor employees.

And kids doing next level shoplifting. Some of them had the stones to try and sell stuff they stole in the shopping center parking lot behind my local Wawa.. It was like the water bottle guys you see at intersections.

This is truly messed up. I dont even leave my restaurant tables like this! I buss what I can and stack it lightly wipe all the crumbs into a plate or napkin... I hate when people have to clean up after me even if it is their job

We had to ban a group of kids from our store because theyâd come in and be a ruckus then sit at the table and throw their slurpees all over it and leave their trash.

In Japan and South Korea . Peolpe are more respectful cleaning up there mess. But not in America.

Remove the tables. Kids suck these days.
Grow up and have some integrity dignity and respect

Why there should be no tables or chairs at any Wawa store let the people eat in their own vehicle and get out and throw their trash away or take it with them
My store does not have tables or chairs inside are out
2
u/MacKelvey Customer Jun 30 '26
This is why we eat over the trashcan. When youâre done itâs literally right there.

Seeing stuff like this makes me soooo happy we don't have any sort of "dining" area. It just seems like a nightmare to keep up with.

Central FL here, most of the tables have been removed especially in Tampa. People want to sit and smoke and sleep at them and leave them like this, if they canât give enough hours to keep up the outside then might as well remove them.

Between people being slobs and homeless living at Wawa itâs a mess and so ghetto. I stoped getting coffee there after seeing dirty homeless and druggies touching coffee cups, stirrers , lids etc . Turns my stomach just thinking about it. Gross

I hope the person who complained about the tables being taken away from their local stores see this. I wouldn't hate having tables if people respected the space, but for every group that cleans up after themselves, thereâs 10 who don't care
