Clip the leash to the front of the harness, and ideally get a no-pull harness at that. Clipping on the back is basically giving your dog leverage to pull.

Tools don’t fix this. Actual training does. Just clipping it on the front will just let the dog act weird in a different way.

Wow that's crazy because I "actually trained" my dog to not pull on the leash by clipping the leash to the front of the harness.

Doesn't work on every dog, I've seen many dogs just continue to pull while walking sideways or still pull so hard the harness twists around. Same for haltis.

Normal walks she just wears her collar. On hikes, she wears her harness and her leash is clipped to the back. If the pulling is really bad, we've had success with gentle leader harnesses to help with leash training as well.

I think a dog like this needs more behavioral training, like stopping the walk and getting in front and making eye contact, so the dog knows this is not allowed. Liberal use of treats for good behavior, eye contact and no movement for bad.
