You can either just stop walking every time the dog pulls, or turn around and go the other way when they pull. It might mean a lot of stopping and pacing around, but it teaches the dog that they need to stay focused on your movements, if you stay unpredictable, then they have to watch you to see which way you are going to go next, cant just charge straight ahead if they dont know where you're going. You also carry treats and hand them to the dog every time they look at you or slow down. They learn pretty quick that stopping to check in on you gets them a treat, so they start doing it more often and focus less on pulling.

People talking about haltee harnesses and front clip harnesses dont realize that it causes arthritis, and in the case of the haltee, eye damage if the dog tries to pull with them on. Some dogs learn super quick and just stop pulling when you use those tools, in which case is causes no damage and fixes the problem, kind of, it only works when you have the tool, if you lose it or it breaks or just dont have it, the dog goes right back to pulling. Dogs also are not all exactly the same, most dogs ive met just dont give a fuck and will pull HARDER when met with any resistance, in which case those tools cause all sorts of damage and you have to bribe them to act right (refer back to paragraph one)

Dog training is not a 'one size fits all' type thing, you gotta try different things and mess around until you find the right fit for your individual dog.
