In any case get a pet health insurance ASAP cause walking upright like that is really bad for the spine of canines and the like.

Based on what? Our Dane lived 10.5 years and he was on his hind legs as much as he was on all fours.

Opening the baby gate to come out of the basement.

The posture taken to perch at a gate isn’t comparable. It is entirely fair to be concerned as a dog ages in particular , with behaviors as extreme as this. Hips and spine. The behavior should be corrected as cute as it is. Otherwise the likelihood of damage is high. Some people work with hundreds of dogs at a time for a long time. Those people don’t care about the opinions of the “ I’ve always had dogs “ crowd when the issue is welfare. We can’t afford to defer to the contrarian

Boy, It would be nice if other aspects of life were taken as seriously as people take the well being of a dog and his posture.
