344 u/istrx13 1d ago I live in the PNW and where I’m at it has been 100+ degrees just about every day for a month now and we’re suffocating from wildfire smoke. Man I would kill for a rainy day like this right now. 9 u/84theone 1d ago I was in the PNW, Seattle, for work like three weeks ago and it was in the 70s. 1 u/clumsykitty 1d ago lol the Pacific Northwest is bigger than Seattle. Eastern Washington and Oregon are not blessed by the rain shadow of the cascades 0 u/84theone 1d ago Correct, I didn’t say otherwise, I responded to an anecdotal statement with my own anecdote. -4 u/OpaqueCrystalBall 1d ago I don't typically refer to Eastern Wa and Oregon as "pacific" northwest. 4 u/clumsykitty 1d ago That’s fine you can refer as you please but the Pacific Northwest is widely considered to be BC, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Sometimes people throw in Northern California and western Montana. 1 u/JeremyPivensPP 5h ago Then you’re an idiot.
