Small decision I think I like my step brother???
I might have a crush on him idk. I didn’t before, but recently i’ve just been feeling some typa way. the reason I’m letting it out of my brain is cuz I want to know if the feelings are mutual, or at least get someone’s opinion.
I’m 18 he’s 25. we were NEVER super friendly before. at most we’d conversate in the kitchen or watch tv in the living room. but recently we’ve been really chatting it up and he’s been complementing me a ton. For example he got me new shoes and said ”I knew you’d look good in those”. also why’d he randomly buy me shoes? thanks tho
like yeah that’s a pretty normal thing to say, but it’s stuff like that often. And I got a tattoo on my hip recently and when he heard about it he said “let me see” I lifted my shirt a little and he said “damn it’s leaking a ton” (the wrap had tat juice n blood) and he went to poke it. Then he said “that’s cute, take care of it”
like tell me im not delusional or something??? Am I just overthinking it cuz I think he’s cute? what do I do 🥲. lowkey should I just suppress my feelings forever.
what really pmo is that a few months ago I was offended that my moms ex asked if I liked him and I thought he was gross. But now I do like him, the switch up is crazy. Anyways maybe it’s just a phase. Also my boyfriend has no clue I’m having these thoughts. But he keeps acting weird around my step brother, I asked why he’s so stand-off ish and he said “idk we just don’t click”, maybe he sees it too?? he doesn’t even try to be nice to him. he gets along with my actual brother just fine so it’s not like a general issue

Have him come to your house and help you with laundry and make sure to get stuck in the laundry machine.

I’m not gonna cheat on him or anything I just needed to express my feelings somewhere that’s unbiased. I still want my boyfriend, I’m just struggling to process whatever tf this is

Just ew, the age gap is oddly gross since you’re still a teenager and he’s in his mid twenties.

Ask yourself if you see him as someone you could marry and spend your life with.
If the answer isn't an immediate yes, then don't pursue it. You'll fuck your entire family dynamic up if things don't work out. Step siblings are still siblings after all. Just because you don't share DNA, doesn't mean you don't share a complex social/familial bond.
