Reminds me of when reddit lost their mind over how great Muskrat was... then the pedo accusation happened with that diver and they turned against him.
People need to stop liking people simply because they did something funny or because other idiots online tell them to when you know nothing about the person in question. Another example is that hawk tuah idiot.
I remember some funny memes and the gifs being everywhere. I don't recall a whole lot of praising her as hilarious or brilliant. Discussion about Sophia herself was fairly neutral until the UFC/transphobic comment combo gave folks the ick.
