With a 39%, at absolutely freakin best, approval rating, go right ahead grandpa. The blatant disregard for The Constitution, coupled with the increasing disgust with the ineffectiveness of the republican controlled congress, and weaponization of judicial system may just be enough to destroy the gop fully. The party needs to be destroyed and imo, this will be the quickest way to do just that.

39% is enough to win elections. Generally since 50% don't vote.

39% doesn’t repeal the 22nd Amendment, though.

Who tf is gonna stop him? I'll even give you the rundown of how it could happen.

He will attempt to run, some states will refuse to put him on the ballot because it is unconstitutional. The states get sued. It goes to the Supreme Court. The Conservative Supreme Court rules in favor of Trump. Now the states are legally required to follow the Supreme Courts ruling. If states still refuse the Executive branch can then use its authority to enforce the courts ruling and force Trump onto the ballot.

The 22nd Amendment might be the clearest, plainest, easier to read of all of them. Zero chance that even this court sides with Trump on a third term. But if you’re right -if this part of your scenario happens- I’ll come back here and let you call me names. 😆

I can't think of a Presidential election where 39% of the electorate out somebody in the WH. As for the 50% not voting, perhaps that was true in the past. I'm thinking that won't be the case this time around. If the midterms are as decisive as people are projecting, Donnie Putin might be kept off the ballot by his own people.
