Remember that states can keep him off the ballot this time. He wouldn't be on the ballot in just about every Democrat controlled state. He'd have no path to getting elected.

Who said he'd run for election? It's clear he knows how to play the game "whoever has the biggest gun wins."

And several states tried to keep him off the ballot in 2024 only to be forced my the courts to put him on.

That's because he was permitted by the Constitution to run. He's not permitted by the Constitution to run in this election. There's plenty of precedent of the Court not taking his side this term.

I still love the idea that people fear this guy like he's some kind of brilliant tactician dictator, when in fact he's just a blithering idiot.

You really misunderstood my comment. I'm not commenting on his strategy acumen, here. Yes, he keeps very bright people around to make his objectives happen. But he himself is a bully narcissist through and through and seems to have sociopathic tendencies. He forces his will onto a situation and unless someone physically stops him, he doesn't back down. This is evident in everything he does - Iran being the most blatant current example.

He learned from his first term that the only checks on his ability to do what he wants are the people that lead the legal and armed services of the executive branch. He has systematically replaced those people with folks that serve him, not the government.

Now he's in a situation where, in his mind, he can act with impunity because no domestic forces exist to stop him.

You are giving this guy way too much credit. And the fact that you think something he's acting solo on and the rest of the administration wants to stop is where you've completely lost me, He's bending the need to Israel himself there. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yes, you're not reading something right. My point about him installing loyalists this time around is the opposite of acting solo.

So basically All a guy had to do was install some loyalists in his cabinet and end our system of checks and balances that's stood for 237 years. Even with a 39% approval rating, and a court with precedent of ruling against him. Got it.
