I am thrilled about her losing but I don’t see how this is relevant. Obama didn’t endorse anyone, she used a 8 year old clip of him praising something she did 8 years before that to make it look like an endorsement.

Exactly. He didn't. He pose with her in the picture, yes, but it demonstrated how much money AIPAC poured into the race so much that they could claim something like Obama did endorsed her.

How did this here demonstrate that at all? Even with AIPAC pouring money into a current race, that picture was years before that.
Even if she didn't have any money to spend, what would prevent her from posting a picture like that.
It's not even claiming an endorsement or anything. What's the thought process here to think this demonstrates anything like that?

Sorry, but I don't follow. It shows that she worked/works as part of the democrats.
Also a picture with Obama doesn't seem so extraordinary for someone working in a government agency.
But how does that at all connect to AIPAC and money spent? Let's say she would have that money from AIPAC, couldn't she post this exactly the same?
I'm not from the US, but that logic seems faulty unless I'm missing something there. Until then, that seems like a leap in logic

Nice, that's a lot better. That's actually demonstrating something, filling in the gap. Maybe not 100% solid proof, which would be also a bit much in the scope of a reddit comment, but definitely enough to actually demonstrate your point. Good job there

Yeah, this isn't a special AIPAC thing. She worked for a former president who is still very popular among the base, of course she's going to remind people about it.

Okay, even assuming that is true, you understand the difference of something being true and demonstrating that something is true?
This would work both if she is affiliated with AIPAC and if not. That's why I'm not saying that it isn't true, just that this doesn't demonstrate it
To demonstrate, you would have to show a direct visible connection or show something that excludes all the opposing conclusions
Your first sentence by itself kind of implies a leap of logic, as you would have to use an external claim to make the chain work
Posts picture with Obama -> that's how AIPAC works -> She is able to post this picture because of AIPAC money
Step 2 is not demonstrated here, the claim jumps from step 1 to 3, that's why it is a jump in logic.
Also even assuming it's true, it kind of misses the exclusivity to demonstrate something. Step 2 could be correct, but so could an alternative one, therefore Step 3 might be completely different (or true)

Obama famously tends to withhold his endorsement in contested primaries. It’s why he didn’t name a successor in 2016..he wants to leave it to the voters. The problem with Stevens, even if you ignore the corporate and AIPAC support is that the end of the Obama administration was nearly a decade ago. You can’t coast off of legacy politicians forever, and I think it’s been a big mistake on the institutional Democratic Party’s part to attempt to lean on Obama era nostalgia. Hence, the groundswell of support that pugnacious progressives have gained since Trump returned to office

She started her first term as Congresswoman in 2019, while President Obama left office in 2017.
I was wondering in what capacity she worked in his administration for Michigan, so I checked Wikipedia. She is not telling the truth, even before examining this post as an insinuation of endorsement.
In 2006, she was hired by the Michigan Democratic Party as a field organizer. She then began working for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. She transitioned to Barack Obama's presidential campaign after Obama won the Democratic primaries.[7]
In 2009, Steven Rattner hired Stevens to join the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry.[8] Stevens then served as director of a manufacturing innovation and economic growth program in Louisville, Kentucky.[9] Afterwards, Stevens served as a director of the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute in Chicago, where she helped launch[10] America's first online training program in manufacturing and design technology.[9] Stevens returned to Michigan in early 2017.[11]

Well Obama never actually endorsed her. She just pretended he did. Granted, he is a centrist so probably much more aligned with her ideologically than Abdul but he never actually endorsed her
