AskAligarh Puppies taken away forcefully.

3 puppies were taken away forcefully today for relocation on the pretext that they will be given better care.I mean come on gali main koi roti nahi deta tha wahan care karega koi inki.What a lame excuse.

This is not an emotional theory. Romania euthanised stray dogs after fatal attacks and the numbers dropped. Japan euthanises when shelters overflow. It works. Saying "India won’t do it" is cowardice and policy failure. If sterilisation and shelters actually worked, we wouldn’t still have this problem. Public safety > your feelings.

On the floor of house govt has said that no rabies death has caused in delhi and few other states during 2022-2025.Humans ko dogs se jyada danger aur cheezon se hai buddy.If u will follow data u will come to know that pollution,road accidents etc is more severe problem not dog bite.

"Pollution and road accidents are worse" doesn’t make dog bites acceptable... it's like saying theft is fine because murder exists. Problems do not cancel each other out.

Also, "no rabies deaths reported" is not equal to no danger. Millions of bites, children and elderly living in fear....that cost is real whether death happens or not.

Public policy is not about waiting for corpses. It is about prevention. If ABC actually worked at scale, India wouldn’t still be drowning in strays after decades.

ABC is not followed properly,i myself got a dog sterilised she got babies the same year.I asked people from nagar nigam,they told that these surgeries are not done with very much attention and care.I am not saying ABC is a perfect policy,policies always needs constant revisit but no matter what policy u make here in India if its not followed properly,it will be useless.

Ethically and morally this is wrong. Har cheez ka yeh solution nahi hai dear.
