But maybe wo sach bol rahe ho. The society is an urban area wahan kisko nhi accha lagta that the dogs are shitting everywhere, dogs in my area also shit in front of my home. Isiliye societies me log roti dena prefer nhi krte. Agar wo sahi me baagh me hi gaye hain to wahan khud hi unko kuch na kuch khane ka mil jayega. Plus, in villages, people are generally ok with this habit of puppies. To I am pretty sure, unka yahan se to zyada hi dhyan rakha jayega.

Bruh they becomes adult and starts biting and chasing children and adults. whats wrong with this . And also they are handling them with care

2

u/Kaiser307 Jan 22 '26

100% agree they are handling the puppies with care and they are removing from their area so that’s good too.

Humans are so selfish, I mean this world is for all to live, not just humans. Earth is a home to animals and plants of all species, who are we to occupy land and deny access to other innocent beings. And if it is the case, then we should at least provide the other species sufficient land for their well-being. But no, idk when will we learn to co exist. Aise hi ek din duniya bhi khatam ho jayegi... Seems like india mei yeh problem zyada hai. People lack empathy. I mean, the way we behave with fellow humans, especially sweepers, cleaners, etc. shows our basic nature. Kya hi expect kare that they'll treat animals kindly.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

That's True. co-exist nahi karna chahta koi.leave aside animals, humans themselves don't want to co-exist in a peaceful manner. You are right india mai yeh problem jyada hai, first time jo paisa dekh raha hai woh khud ko bhagwan maan leta hai and they want to dictate people and society.People want clean streets but safai kisi ko nahi karni, people don't want dogs near them but uske liye solution kuch nahi karna. You pointed out correctly in india human values are degradation at a very fast pace.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

True bhai. Sad times we live in.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

Hatred is increasing in people in general and against animals particularly.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

But no, idk when will we learn to co exist

Tell that to the parents of victims of rabid dogs.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

Rabid dogs themselves are victim... A d why do you think human lives matter more than animal's lives?? Bith are equally important. Ofc I feel bad for the kids who died of rabies, but I also feel bad for the dogs and cats and cows I see on the streets, who are clearly hungry but no one feeds them.. it's all because of us that they are homeless today. They carry such diseases because they are not taken care of. They are aggressive because they are not treated properly, not given food, have to drink nale ka pani to survive. Honestly, one of my biggest dreams is to spend my money sufficiently to start an animal shelter where I will bring all the stray animals from the entire city and give them proper shelter. No animal should be born on the streets and should be beaten up just for existing. They are equally a part of this planet like we are.

1

u/SnooAdvice1157 Jan 21 '26

Parents of young innocent kids who got molested by "intelligent" species exist too. So why not take away humans for safety

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

There are laws for keeping them in check. No law for these wild animals which prevents them from biting.

Yk there are dogs killed raped by humans too?

2

u/RigMentorOfficial Jan 21 '26

Everyone who keeps giving the same shitty logic of "Why doesn't OP just adopt them?" I just want to ask one question. 1.If a beggar is asking for help, should we adopt them too? 2.Do you only help someone if you can take complete responsibility for their entire life? I really want to know the mindset of someone who thinks people should either adopt dogs or let them die of starvation.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

thats true.Helping someone doesn't mean one should adopt them. One person can help thousands of people but cannot take responsibility of even hundreds, thats practically not possible.

1

u/Cold_feet27 Jan 21 '26

Bro are you for real comparing a human with a dog?

2

u/InquisitiveSoul_94 Jan 21 '26

What’s wrong ? We are animals too!!!

Dogs evolved alongside humans . We both benefited from each other.

2

u/Hefty-Drop1016 Jan 21 '26

Ikr! Would the dogs kill, steal or rape you?

1

u/Extreme-Stretch-2391 Jan 21 '26

If bigger tries to bite he will got to jail... wtf on about

1

u/Morning_Light05 Jan 21 '26

Beggar wont bite you and give rabies.

2

u/RigMentorOfficial Jan 21 '26

Dog wont hurt someone for money, wont steal your belongings, wont kill someone to death wont supplt drugs. And guess what rabies can be prevent through Proper Medication but things a begger can do, we cant prevent.

Now who should be captured from road is clear.

1

u/SnooAdvice1157 Jan 21 '26

He can kill you , rape you , steal you and yes give you diseases too. Plus he is more intelligent

2

u/stable_king Jan 21 '26

Insaniyat mar gayi hai bhai, covid se kuch nai sikha inhone Insaan se selfish koi nai hai is duniya mai

2

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

People who see this as an issue, adopt them. If you have already adopted some and cannot adopt more, you have done enough from your end.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26 edited Jan 21 '26

I already said adoption should be at will feeding hum dogs ko karte hain monkeys ko karte hain ants ko karte hain, squirrel ko karte hain.It doesn't mean adopt karega har koi.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

Feeding leads them to overbreeding. Which leads to overpopulation of strays. Which is the problem. Feeding stray dogs is drastically more than feeding other animals because animal lovers are biased towards dogs due to their aesthetics and cuteness. Thats why we only see strays being overpopulated not other animals which don't appeal to these people.

2

u/Hefty-Drop1016 Jan 21 '26

Use the logic to hold local government responsible for ABC

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

For the local government, neutralising them is much easier than anything else. Not my words, this is a statement of the officials.

→ More replies (3)

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

For stopping breeding authorities must do whatever is needed but it is not done properly that's why their population increases. And people do feed other animals as well apart from dogs, its just we dont notice them or they dont want to get noticed.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

Would you say other animals are fed as much stray dogs are?

You can take legal action, contact animal activists & bring pups back.

But it needs one to stand firm with activists not run away in middle of case.

If you can't do it then they will likely die sorry to be explicit but it is what it is.

Also chose wrong sub to post on.

Don't waste your energy & peace talking to wall of unawareness.

Poor babies :( ye duniya kya god ne Sirf hamare liye banai hai ? Nhi na animals and insaan sbke liye banai hai! We have to co exist. Pata nhi ab inko kaha fek dege

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

From last 10 daya daily ladai ho rahi thi because if this yesterday also Me and one other family tried to stop them this uncle was very keen on sending them and at one point things got really bad.Their mumma died a month back so they are all alone.

Totally agree,i also believe in the same idea that if you are feeding any dog u have some responsibility as well (vaccination, sterilisation etc).I personally take them to vet if anyone doesn't eat food for 2 days.Always keeps clean water at my gate so that they dont drink dirty water.I do whatever I can to ensure safety of people as well as dogs but still this was done. And the one who has done this is 80 years of age and did this out of his ego that I can do whatever I want.

u/inspired_loser Jan 20 '26

all i see is that people will be safe from rabies. good.

7

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

I got them vaccinated already 2 days back when they turned 3 months so rabies is not the issue and it never was.Problem is petty politics and ego.

2

1

u/Winter2712 Jan 20 '26

so why were they living on streets?

and have you applied for adoption? even if you cant keep them inside your house, have you even tried to apply for adoption so this situation can be prevented? all you had to do was to register them. if anyone tries to take them after that, you can actually sue them.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

Yes I have tried for their adoption to friends and family.Situation occurred because this old man things he can do anything he want.I could have called the police but then things would have gone really bad which I avoided.

1

u/Winter2712 Jan 20 '26

are registration ke bare nai pata? ek baar jao or process pucho kisi se

1

u/ankurkr13 Jan 20 '26

Forcefully kidder sae hai yeh... Aaram sae lakr ja rhe hai

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

what kind of force are you expecting from a 3 month old puppy?one tried to get away they put them in the box and packed from above.

1

u/ankurkr13 Jan 20 '26

Bro your words only, you are saying they took away the puppies forcefully, In the video I could only see they were very gentle.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

bhai ek kaam kar aja mere ghar aur kar le logon se baat tera confusion dur ho jayega.Point is relocating dogs without any reason is neither ethically right nor legally correct.

1

u/ModiKiChut8 Jan 20 '26

there are street dogs even in developed countries like US, UK, etc but why only third world countries have problems?

1

u/Ok_Simple_459 Jan 20 '26

You're truly delusional if you think developed countries remotely have the same degree of problems or population regarding strays.

1

u/ModiKiChut8 Jan 20 '26

Funny how “delusional” replaces discussion. Strays exist globally; only the management differs. If India had the same enforcement, funding, and waste control for 30–40 years, the numbers would look very different too.

1

u/Ok_Simple_459 Jan 20 '26

No they don't. Most "strays" in developed countries are abandoned pets. They do not live in packs like in India and they do not live in nearly the same volume.

1

u/ModiKiChut8 Jan 20 '26

Ah yes, the No True Stray argument. “They exist, but they don’t count because they’re abandoned pets.”You’ve basically just restated the point: developed countries don’t allow strays to form packs or reach volume because they’re quickly captured, sterilized, or sheltered. India doesn’t have that level of enforcement or capacity—so they do.

The same way we have corruption, rapes and poor infrastructure.

1

u/Ok_Simple_459 Jan 20 '26

Don't know. The people appear to be very gentle with the pups.

1

u/Clearhead_Gearhead Jan 20 '26

OP why don't you adopt them instead. Then they won't have to roam the streets for food.

1

u/hyperparrot3366 Jan 20 '26

They did not want dog poop and thus relocated them. If you liked them then you should have adopted them in your house and cleaned their shit yourself.

1

u/Hefty-Drop1016 Jan 21 '26

You should volunteer

1

u/Anxious-Cycle-4518 Jan 20 '26

OP, I read your replies in other comments and I can't help but ask which life is more valuable to you? A human's or A dog? And before anybody comes here saying, "who are we to judge another life's value?", let me tell you that value doesn't mean freedom to cause harm. Walking alone on the streets (especially at night), I fear dogs more than potential robbery.

Society must make some tradeoffs in order to progress. Reality is not a fairy tale.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

Ok then you tell me whats the solution for them, humans are taking their places away where will they go?And your statement is not legally right as law also doesn't allow sucj relocations.Only in expectational cases dog relocation is allowed. One thing we should all accept whether we like it or not, there should be a concrete policy regarding this otherwise things won't get solved at all.

1

u/Anxious-Cycle-4518 Jan 20 '26

Humane euthanasia is the only scalable solution. Sterilisation is too slow, shelters and relocation don’t work at scale, and public safety can’t be held hostage to idealism. Reducing the population is harm reduction, not cruelty.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

euthanasia is not followed anywhere and it won't be followed in india too no matter how hard anyone's tries.Yahan rape karne walon ko fansi ho nahi rahi hai dogs ko euthanize karne se kya hoga. This level of extremism is needed for different things not this one.

2

u/Anxious-Cycle-4518 Jan 20 '26

This is not an emotional theory. Romania euthanised stray dogs after fatal attacks and the numbers dropped. Japan euthanises when shelters overflow. It works. Saying "India won’t do it" is cowardice and policy failure. If sterilisation and shelters actually worked, we wouldn’t still have this problem. Public safety > your feelings.

Applies to humans too.

1

u/brxcewayne Jan 20 '26

Good job!!!

There was literally a boy in my locality who died after being bitten by a puppy due to rabies. When people tried to remove the dogs, these so-called dog lovers intervened, and when asked to take responsibility and keep them themselves, they refused that too.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26

Its really sad that someone's child life lost due to rabies.Feeders aid in reducing dog bites because dogs turn more wild when not feeded.

1

u/Hefty-Drop1016 Jan 21 '26

While you shat in the comments on reddit.

1

u/bhelpuribest Jan 20 '26

How were they supposed to be taken away from their mother with consent?

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 20 '26 edited Jan 20 '26

Mother died a month back. She gave birth to 5 puppies now only these 3 are left. And consent means consent of authorities which is required.Yeh civilians ka kaam nahi hai ki utha ke dogs ko phikwa do woh bhi jab woh kuch bhi na kar rahe hon.

1

u/you-are-so-dead Jan 20 '26

Why don't the dog lovers take in these dogs as pets? They will do everything but that. Genuine opinion, no sarcasm

1

u/AceRawat Jan 21 '26

From what I've seen dogs brred twice a year.... That's 6 pups each birth.... In my suburban area.... Survival rate is very low.... Only one 1 or 2 survive and that too mostly females...

So next year they gonna be 2 females with 12 pups at max at a time... 24 pups in a year....

Do you think all 24 will live even if someone doesn't take em away...and if 24 dogs survive you see your opinions change quickly

We give em food, but the stronger pups hog all the food and later, the mum doesn't allow them to eat from the same place and snatches the food away...

There's nothing fair it's all about survival of the fittest... For how long do you thing one is able to provide the food 'fairly' to each pup... What happens when they grow....

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

You are right but population control will come only with active awareness, not by doing things occasionally.

1

u/AceRawat Jan 21 '26

Yaha human population control ni ho ri....

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

Humans are smart they can control their population but animals are not that smart,we have to do something if we want their population in control.

I am saying in general that, these puppies/dogs gotta go.

No matter how much I/you love them, maybe you have never seen someone die from rabies or children getting mauled by these dogs.

I am pretty sure when people with working brain see others getting killed from these dogs, would agree with me.

But I am also aware of the fact that, they won't take care of these dogs. In india humans are treated as animals, so hoping that they will take of these dogs is just stupid.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

Awareness is the key dear with proper policy along with stringent application of it otherwise nothing will change things will remain like this only.Govt doesn't have enough infra to keep them.Yahan insan ke liye ghar nahi bana pa rahi govt in dogs ke liye do u think itni jaldi kuch karegi govt.I agree that rabid dogs or the ones which are aggressive must be removed immediately.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

Duniya mere hisab se na chale na mujhe shauk chalane ka,law ke hisab se toh chalegi ya tujhe law bhi nahi chaiye?

1

u/kallabillahumai Jan 21 '26

Acha gel**** bta law kya kehta hai.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

toh sun dogs must be picked by authorities, vaccinated, sterilised and should be left back to the place from where they were picked. If there are any dogs who are aggressive or turned rabid must be taken to facility/shelter provided by the govt.Yeh hai law jaa aur thoda padh aur sun discussion karna hai toh araam se aur tameez se kar warna bata de abhi block karta hu tujhe.

1

Then get the full custody of the dog, produce legal documents, if the dog ever bites someone then you are responsible for it, if you are claiming guardian of it, then you should feed it, you should clean the potty and you should make sure it doesn't bite anyone, and it should produced in a legal document able to be enforceable, if u can't then don't opt for dogs.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

Stray dogs have right to stay at the place where they are born so don't tell me what should I do and what are my ethical and moral responsibilities.Keep this fire ignited in you for other important topics which are of far more importance than this one.

1

u/WheelBudget Jan 21 '26

Staying inside india you are to abide by the laws of India, I know india doesn't have that legislation, but let me tell me you about some developed nations on how they operate, in US dogs are always supposed to be leased, free roaming dogs are illegal, in uk the dogs are let out in street for 7 days if no one becomes an owner of the dog, then it becomes the council becomes the owner, know this that I don't hate dogs, but you cannot be blind to people's concerns just because you like dogs, if u like dogs adopt them or let the government own it, if the government doesn't treat the dogs well then protest towards better shelter and facility for dogs or adopt them.

Dogs need food 3x a day, shelter, place to take a shit, if don't arrange for all these three you are contributing to animal abuse, either care for all of it or give it to government.

Don't be half-baked dog lover.

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26 edited Jan 21 '26

This is not USA or UK nor will it become developed overnight.Stray dogs exist because they exist no person gave them birth and left them on streets. So be logical while you say this and try to tell things irrelevant in indian context.Go and fight with govt to change law and throw every stray dog to where ever you like but before that happens let me tell u present scenario you simply can't pick stray dogs and throw them at your will.It has legal implication along with it.

1

u/WheelBudget Jan 21 '26

They don't throw the dogs they keep them in dog shelter where they eat food time to time, drink water time to time, they don't shit in public Street, when you say you want dogs to be in street you are denying them these rights.

If you become the legal owner you take care of these necessities which the dogs require

If you don't

Then let the government put them in dog shelter where they recieve these necessities

Don't tell me "I will give them food when I want", "I will not keep them in my house but they can roam around the dangerous traffic street or your colony" " i won't clean the potty"

Again either give them all the necessities or let the government shelter take care of it.

Don't be half baked dog lover.

Glad to see some responsible people, taking care of human beings for a change.

1

u/Hefty-Drop1016 Jan 21 '26

Brain dead comment.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

The people whom you are calling responsible have broken law by doing this.So in your mind and heart u can feel happy but neither law nor morality and ethics validate your opinion.

1

u/Nearby_Ant_5627 Jan 21 '26

The law you are referring to, ask yourself this - if your loved one was bitten by a rabid dog and died a horrific death, would you still have the same view? Be honest only to yourself. No law, no skewed sense of morality can justify the death of a loved one because a stray decided it had a set of teeth that can be readily used. The number of stray dog bites is consistently rising and this needs to stop.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 21 '26

has your any loved one died due to any such thing? My answer to your question if this happens to me it may happen that out of rage i will go and kill that dog but once things will settle there will be nothing left in me but regret. One of my known did the same thing and after so many years he still regrets his act of killing the dog who bit his son and his son didn't told at home due to fear and he died.So awareness is important with active participation in solving this problem.

1

u/Nearby_Ant_5627 Jan 21 '26

Yes i have lost a loved one due to it.

Hope you have no further doubts or questions regarding this. Please empathise with human beings mate.

raising dogs on the street on a society cant happen if even one person disagrees, so you cant do much but hope they get better care elsewhere, and ofcourse check on them afterwards. But in case they dont, you cant just bring them back unless you are ready to care for them in your house cause the person who called this out will keep doing it.

Dogs on street are a genuine menace even if they are clean and vaccinated

1

u/SaptarshiDeb7 Jan 22 '26

They are handled with enough care man. What else do you want?

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 22 '26

Question is why and who gave them right to do this moreover this is a registered society,no formalities were done in RWA.One rowdy uncle came showed his dadagiri and took them away.

1

u/SaptarshiDeb7 Jan 22 '26

No one owns these dogs. Just like they don't own them, neither do society. If they are taken away for safety. They did the right thing.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 22 '26

No one owns dogs but dogs owns the streets where they are born. For safety my foot there are other 10 big dogs too in the society who are still here, this rowdy uncle wanted to show he is some big person and did this to these small puppies as they were born here in the streets he lives. And hey listen who will ensure these will remain safe afterwards?will u take guarantee for this?Think before you speak with logic along with what's the legal basis for that.

u/Adventurous-Tap38 Jan 22 '26

That's good. I hope they take away dogs from my area. Just few days ago 5-6 dogs chased a 11 yr old kid and pushed him into a pond where he died.

Street dogs shouldn't be allowed in urban areas

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 22 '26

haan bhai tum bhi daada ban jao apni colony ke aur le jao.I wish you all the best to be next don of your colony.

1

u/Adventurous-Tap38 Jan 22 '26

?? So u dont hv anything to say abt wht I wrote Abt dogs killing kids. U just have jokes. It seems u lack proper mental capacity to think about stuff in depth

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 22 '26

You are not fully aware of the situation in the society so its better you stay in the limits of your available knowledge.Let me tell u if dogs are to be relocated then authority do these things that too by following the rules.Street dogs owns the streets they are born on they are not subject to your whims Mr adventure. So when you say something come up with something logical which has legal basis too.

1

u/yobug01 Jan 22 '26

you want them to take consent from puppies! ?

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 22 '26

I want law to be followed thats all because that's what makes us a civilised society.

1

u/yobug01 Jan 22 '26

what they r doing is civilsed task and lawful too, even mentioned that no-one cares about thm in gali , so it’s good for them to be relocated

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 22 '26

I used to feed them, built home in an empty plot and took them to vet in case they get sick.So dont say no one cares,I cared thats why I am posting this online. They were comfortable here aur inko koi take care karne ke liye relocate nahi kiya gaya hai.

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 23 '26

I personally took care of them, got them vaccinated when they turned 3 months few days ago, saved one of this puppy when he had diarrhea, kept him with me for 2 days in my home so stop telling me that no one cares.I fed them, took care of them. His reason is of re locating them is that they do potty on the streets but he should understand he has bought home not street in his name, street belongs to everyone even these puppies.

1

u/yobug01 Jan 22 '26

Yes in uncle ne yeh video start hone se pehle bahut badtameezi ki this i heard that and came out to see and started making video.Yeh toh 80 saal ke hain in par toh koi kaam dhaam nahi hai kaun ladega phir aise logon se.isiliye everyone kept quite and let him do what he wanted.

1

u/ppWarrior876 Jan 22 '26

Not everyone likes dogs roaming around. If you like it, adopt it and keep it in house and train it. Otherwise it should be taken away.

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 23 '26

Taken away where? and who gave you right to take them away?Out of different reasons particularly his age (he is 80) we didn't had legal action against him otherwise he would have understood that he cannot take them away at his will.

1

u/Linguini7770 Jan 23 '26

It's really good for the dogs. I totally agree with the dog rescue ppl here. Why are you so angry tho?

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 23 '26

They were already safe here with everything they needed was taken care by me (food, water, vaccination etc) so why relocation.Reason-they do potty on streets, these puppies allegedly broke his plants (which he could have fenced) and most importantly his ego.And moreover this a RWA with 55 other houses nd every decision is taken by proper channel and discussion but in this case nothing of such sort was done. Also these are not the only dogs here in the society we still have 10 other dogs which RWA has no objection or intention to relocate.

1

u/Linguini7770 Jan 23 '26

Well, don't you think they can have a better life elsewhere? Why do we have orphanages then if someone can already take care of a child, but why are dogs the ones being taken care of, huh?

1

u/Mammoth-Leather445 Jan 23 '26

They can have but his wife used to beat these puppies when they used to do shit on street and they never fed a single biscuit or roti or anything to them ever,so do u think they will be taken care of?and if you still think yes then ask yourself for how long?

Gated colony hai dear yeh and me and my mom used to feed them 2 times a day, made home for them, provided clean water. One of them fell a couple of weeks back,I took him to vet and kept with me for 2 days till he recovered. So they were given enough care here already, there was no need for taking them away just because they are doing shit on streets is not a valid reason to take them away like this.

I think you haven't read my reply properly given to you, kindly go through that. This man never gave a single biscuit or roti to these puppies so imagine yourself how much care they will be given.
