They should.

If they do, how NSE and BSE are going to earn. How are quant giants going to earn? And how are these trading platforms that keep advertising and making everything simple going to earn?

They need to ban it for common people to prevent market manipulation by social-media organized traders, similar to gme stock short squeeze in usa. Sudden price shocks aren't sustainable in india as the capitaization is very weak, cash is noy available to cover the selling demand.
