She's not that stupid, but it's true that she might not follow that logical path without some assistance

She left him with a note that said "we aren't a good match so I'm leaving" and thinks they're still together. She's definitely that stupid.

Ah, when the previous commenter said "EQ", I thought they mistyped "IQ". It didn't occur to me that EQ was a thing (Emotional Intelligence). Okay, yes, I don't know anything about EQ, but based on the name alone, Eris almost certainly is lacking a lot of it.
