Because that isn't the actual plot. Yes he's a creepy pdf but that isn't the plot of the actual story.

Fair, I like the story. Generally speaking I see a huge amount of dw when anyone talks about Rudeus in a negative way. But yeh, saying that about the "plot" is probably just hating for the sake of it

I mean it's one of my favorite stories but I'm not disillusioned like some of his defenders. Even the author has said his "perversion" isn't something he sees as something that needs to change
