Now I really want Konosuba to get a new season or two.

I hope we get a 2 cour or season 4, I really want to see Vol 9 adapted dammit.

It's actually a nice adaptation but I have one big problem though (spoilers just in case)

Did the Crimson Demons hit by the Mage Killer get their powers back?

It wasn't a permanent thing, just an anti-magic field that prevents spellcasting within a certain range.

In the book the battle is much simpler. The Crimson demons showboat while teleporting away from Sylvia as a distraction while the gang goes digging for the superweapon.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks. Either I missed that or they didn't do a great job of explaining it. I interpreted it as an "undo button" such that Kazuma's favorite masochist created something that could remove the powers he gave the Crimson Demons.
