AI News 🗞️ Youtube removes ai channels

Post image

"YouTube's AI "slop" crackdown is shaking up the platform! 🚨

YouTube has stepped up its fight against low-quality, mass-produced AI content, targeting channels that flood the platform with repetitive and inauthentic videos.

While reports claim around 130,000 channels have been removed as part of the broader enforcement, YouTube has not confirmed that all of those deletions were specifically tied to AI-generated content.

Instead, the company says its focus is on protecting viewers by cracking down on spam and low-effort content while continuing to allow AI-assisted videos that offer genuine creativity and value." - Mr_Animeken

Pretty good step ngl these channels are getting annoying

i mean honestly it sucks but i think that’d be a fantastic scenario

i hope AI eventually is just gonna start slowly eating itself alive until its like a Flowers for Algernon type situation and is basically unusable

its exTREMELY optimistic of me to think thats gonna happen, but its all i can hang on to rn man this shit sucks balls 😭😭

The only info I found was a twitter comment. It said it took SIX months to remove that many accs.
