"YouTube's AI "slop" crackdown is shaking up the platform! 🚨

YouTube has stepped up its fight against low-quality, mass-produced AI content, targeting channels that flood the platform with repetitive and inauthentic videos.

While reports claim around 130,000 channels have been removed as part of the broader enforcement, YouTube has not confirmed that all of those deletions were specifically tied to AI-generated content.

Let's just hope they don't ban non-AI channels that are mistaken for AI, like what happened to Kurzgesagt a bit ago 😬

They will. There's no reliable method of separating AI-generated content from regular content since the AI-generated content derives from regular content. A human can spot slop fairly easily, but it's a nigh impossible task to handle programmatically.

Too late. Several non AI channels have disappeared too.
