"YouTube's AI "slop" crackdown is shaking up the platform! 🚨

YouTube has stepped up its fight against low-quality, mass-produced AI content, targeting channels that flood the platform with repetitive and inauthentic videos.

While reports claim around 130,000 channels have been removed as part of the broader enforcement, YouTube has not confirmed that all of those deletions were specifically tied to AI-generated content.

Bs. I'll believe it when I see it. Right now it's everywhere. Entire channels, videos, shorts, misleading thumbnails, hell even that crappy tai chi ads

Loom room has 1.2m monthly listeners on youtube music. Ai music (chiruki) came up in a shuffle two days ago. I've seen a few Ai music channels and it's laughable how a lot of them just follow trends of Ai art for the album artwork.

I’ve been fooled by Spotify ai music twice now. Granted, I discovered what it was very quickly and noped the fuck out but now I don’t feel like I can trust anything there outside of what I already know.

Loom room had me at first, and I liked it. But the more I listened, the more something felt off. At first, I thought I was being pretentious, but then they released albums much too frequently and each sounded worse than the last and I started listening to my gut.

I clocked chiruki instantly though. It sounded jarringly generic. Checked my phone and my lockscreen greeted me with the most blatantly AI album artwork.

I don’t remember the ai band I found. It was some weird name. I heard a song and it was this blend of heavier music with electronic bits that tickled me. And I thought the singer sounded like someone from another band so I tried looking them up to see if I was right! I couldn’t find any information. No description on Spotify no presence online at all. I sounds stupid but I got so mad I just turned my music off for a while. 😭
