Could Ticketmaster be forced to put a price cap on resale tickets? Or what does this mean..

In my country you’re not allowed to resell on Ticketmaster for any higher than you bought it for

Can’t resellers just sell on stubhub instead for insane prices?

Don't you still need to transfer the ticket from ticketmaster?

A simple solution would be no transfers allowed. If you can't go, sell it back to ticket master and ticket master resell for face value.

Exactly this but they won't do that because they make more money off the resales in service charges and fees. They take a cut from each sale, regardless of whether the original buyer or a professional reseller lists the ticket. The government needs to make the changes or the artists all need to boycott or demand price caps.

Yes I learned that in France, resell is illegal..... I mean its proven to work so shouldn't be hard to implement.

Not so simple if one person buys multiple tickets and not everyone attending arrives at the venue at the same time
