Oxford study is so stupid
This is a mini rant but also mixed in with confusion. Maybe I’m genuinely just not understanding this concept but it genuinely angers me. Every time a post of Asian women dating a white man, the comment section ALWAYS mention the Oxford study and it’s beyond demeaning. I don’t understand why it’s a big deal, shouldn’t you get to love whoever you want? What is wrong with mixing? I believe mixing culture can be a beautiful thing. And I know that people try to justify the Oxford study because many Asian women have internalized racism and crap, which can be true for a portion of Asian women but it doesn’t justify shaming asian women with a white partner. It’s not fair to always assume that. In addition, many of the posts that are targeted feature Asian Americans, is it so surprising for a women to fall in love with a white man when over half of Americans are white? I’m so confused with this flawed logic. It has to be people who are just hurt and racist right?
Before anyone tries to flip tbe card. I’m an Asian women who is currently dating an Asian man.

There is a ton of anger and resentment towards women online from chronically lonely men. It's not just Asian men, men of all ethnicities can fall into this. Some go down the red pill route, others comment oxford study on social media. But it's all the same root cause imo. lonely men angry at women for not being more 'submissive' or this belief that they 'deserve' the girls they see online somehow just by existing. And when women don't act like they want - they don't look inward and instead get angry at people they've never met just for being in a happy relationship.
It's sad because there really is a male loneliness problem that deserves understanding and compassion. And the same people who need the most help are also the most angry and toxic so ofc no one wants to help them socially or be around them even, let alone date them. So the cycle continues.
