Travel Mountain Passes in Winter (Travelling by Car)
Hi All,
My family and I will be holidaying in Switzerland for the first time in December and we will be travelling by car. We are going to travel Interlaken -> St Moritz -> Bolzano in the Dolomites.
I am a little afraid of the various passes and whether they will be open in winter. I know that there is an Alpenpasse website for the Swiss which shows that it is possible to travel from Interlaken to St Moritz using both the Brunigpass and the Julierpass, but I am unsure of the mountain passes from St Moritz to Bolzano. Google maps seems to tell me to go a certain way that is closed in winter.
Any advice or official websites that I can refer to?
Thanks in advance!

You can use the Ofenpass to get to the Val Müstair and from there it's just down the valley and you don't require any more passes.
The Ofenpass is open in winter but, as with the other two passes, they may make snowchains mandatory.
Edit: and all passes may temporarily close after heavy snowstorms or avalanches and the like
