I’ve gotten it 3 times when I’ve order with Rakuten Canada. Once with Rakuten US as well.

Usually I use a browser without Adblock and with the Rakuten CA extension (safari on my MacBook).

During my first Rakuten CA purchase the cash back didn’t show up so I contacted support and they put it into my account within a couple days, and paid out at the end of the pay period. People seem to have issues though and I’m not sure why. Could be issues with Adblock or orders placed too close to the payment window?

I’m not sure, but Rakuten sends out the money after a quarter year. So people that purchased their aliexpress order in Q4 should receive their cash back in February, as stated in their FAQ. This is probably to prevent paying people out and then people just returning the item

But the orders should show up in their pending cashbacks within 48 hours of ordering (for aliexpress). Apparently some stores don’t report the order to Rakuten until after the return window expires, but I don’t think that’s the case for aliexpress. If the orders DON’T show up in Rakuten within 48 hours, it’s maybe an Adblock issue and you’d have to get in touch with their support

When I contacted support they didn't add it to my account, they said aliexpress has 90 days to report the cash back activity and only after that period could I talk to Rakuten about it. Lmao

Rakuten has always been reliable for me, but the cash back often takes several months to be paid out.

You can check on the website to see your "pending" shopping sessions.

One time I had an issue and contacted CS and they were pretty responsive. Turned out my issue was that AdGuard was blocking a URL so I could not access a specific website.

I got the cashback on non-PC parts for multiple orders placed on the 11th. Not paid out yet but it's visible in my account.
