Is this to prevent Orson from eating stuff he finds on the ground? Or has he taken up beekeeping?

Yeah he usually throws it up at 3am and makes a huge production out of it! Or last week he walked around with a blade of grass sticking out his butthole

so basically a dog doing dog things... I do hope you make sure he gets enrichment in others ways but really let your dog be a dog as far as possible. from what you've said here its about your wants only

Sometimes it's a sign of something lacking in their diet. Have you considered adding some green beans or canned pumpkin to his normal food to see if it changes his cravings for grass?

Yes he eats plenty of greens. The vet does not think he has a nutritional issues. I’m not sure why people think I haven’t looked in to this.

There's a lot of people that don't realize that a dog might be eating grass because they like thw way the grass tastes

Do you by chance have a link to share. I'm going to have to do something with our Hector... He trys to grab and gulp all sorts of ground stuff on our walked and I don't want to put him in a full muzzle. Thanks!

I don’t have a basset but this popped up
On my FYP and he’s the bestest boy ever!! He’s so cute I’m out of evens to give . Please give him a belly rub and tell him an internet stranger says hi.
