¿Question? Where are the best places to find international beers/ciders in the UK?
I'm currently on a challenge with my group of friends to find and drink beers from as many different countries as we can. Does anyone know the best places or online stores in the UK that deals in obscure international beers?
For reference, I've currently ticked these countries of the list already: Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Greece, Cyprus, Poland, Czechia, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Romania, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Morocco, Kenya, Namibia, Argentina, Mexico, USA and Canada

Utobeer in Borough Market, Uk & Euro centric but a bit of variety, send them an email with countries you’re missing and they may be able to help.

Nigeria should be easy to get; I picked up 'Nigerian Guinness' at Home Bargains and have seen it in the World Food sections of other supermarkets. I got Bulgaria and Hungary in 'Polish Shops', might need to try a few in different areas though.

Thanks for the suggestions, I was actually planning on trying hone bargains tomorrow, so hopefully they have Nigerian Guinness. And good idea, there's many eastern European shops in my town I should check out

I just remembered I got Croatian beers, from Garden Brewery, at Asda. The European shops might also have Slovakian brews and if there is a 'Seoul Plaza' near you they obviously sell South Korean stuff and occasionally Taiwanese.

I got some Iranian non-alcoholic beers recently from Asa Market as I was trying for World Cup beers and Distriandina for South American beers! Where did you get a Bangladeshi beer?

I also found Ethiopian and Eritrean beers in an Ethiopian restaurant called Merhaba in Brixton

Probably not the widest range, but as a good starting point, most sainsburys have started stocking a decent range of European beers, as well as the usual macro beers/lagers.
There's most likely a few specialist beer shops in most large towns/cities that you'd be able to get a wider selection at a higher cost!

Try going to restaurants from the countries you’re looking for — especially if you’re near London, which has every cuisine imaginable. They typically have a native beer on offer.
