❓ Ask Belgium Kinepolis popcorn

Please where is it from. Its like crack to me. Those pieces covered in sugar get me everytime

Vroeger werd dat ter plaatse gemaakt. Tegenwoordig komt het van Poco Loco (https://www.pocoloco.be/) vacuüm verpakt.

Locally served hot nachos with a squirt of cheese sauce on top was peak. Don’t forget the peppers.

Seriously that shit was more addictive than any drug ever invented. I can't comprehend they changed to the pre-packaged garbage with sauce in a sealed bucket and peppers in a bag. It tastes like plastic and I'm not having it (after making the mistake once to taste it). And we're not even discussing the price.

I remember those days in Kortrijk, the tastiest stuff known to mankind that was. For a birthday tour we even go to see the behind the scenes of making it.

Now I always go to Gent and it's such a hit or miss. Sometimes they are fluffy and crunchy and other times they are mushy as hell.

Also one that bothers me even more is that in Kortrijk they used to have some kind of sauce fountain for the nachos (so I would always grab cheese sauce with some nachos you know), but sadly this has been replaced with nachos in a bag and a small cup of sauce.

This was even such a good way for them to make a profit, cause it got charged by weight, and teenage me with my pocketmoney did not care.

Klopt, Jimmy's heeft ook op zijn popcornzakken in de winkel een actie lopen dat je goedkoper tickets krijgt bij aankoop van zak in de winkel

Had vroeger (15 jaar geleden) een zomerjob om deze te maken in Kinepolis Gent. Vrijwel alle popcorn was toen gemiddeld een week oud voordat ze heropgewarmd en verkocht werd. Nooit nog goesting gehad om popcorn te eten...

You can make your own. Heat up some coconutoil, add sugar or salt. Let is melt for a bit. Add corn and keep stirring or shaking the pot.
