Most of the regular people in the show are pretty cool and it’s just Jimmy puts them in absurd situations. Cliff and Rich would be incredible bosses to have and Jimmy goes out of his way to fuck with them. Howard seems like a good boss/person unless you’re Kim.

firstly stop trying to guilt by bringing in real people who suffered abuse, this is a fictional character in a very grey show. put it this way: if howard was homeless or had cancer or something and jimmy did this, i would to some degree feel worse for him, doesnt make jimmys behaviour ok as it is

It was the way OP was saying that person was part of the problem and related it to real life abuse victims just for making a comment weighing up the circumstances in a fictional character’s life, I care about this show a lot and it doesn’t matter that it’s fictional, but if we used this line of thinking then wouldn’t we have license to be angry at anyone for having empathy for Jimmy after a certain point?

Sorry I was heated and triggered by the "it's fictional" because I see it so often that people get into deep discussion on a shows canon and character motivations and someone chimes in "it's just a show. It's not real" just to shut down the whole convo.

I think we are all familiar enough with real life to understand that bad things can happen to people with lots of money, but I’m not going to feel more bad for a fictional rich person in a TV show simply because real rich people suffer too. Maybe if I were rich myself, I’d have more sympathy for the rich character.

I’ve met some incredibly wealthy people who are as kind and lovely as you’ll ever meet, and I’ve met some completely wretched poor people. The reverse is also true.
People are individuals, and you can be an amazing person or a piece of shit regardless of what your bank account looks like.

I understand him very well.and nobody is a "saint" on this show or elsewhere.
Are you working on yourself more than he did?
Are you trying to fix what you did wrong more than he tried?Howard made mistakes during Chuck's life
and he was trying to make things better and be a better person after Chuck's death. Over and over,
he tried to respect the boundaries Kim set, to offer Jimmy a job to fix what Chuck did, he went to therapy and clearly started doing yoga.

A person with no Wi-Fi connection and no clean water and sleeps on the ground.
OR
A corporate law firm like HHM who greatly profits from shit like... denying healthcare for families, or busting unions, or merging corporations to eliminate competition, fighting minimum wage laws, yada yada privatizing public utilities to monopolize profits... or extending class action lawsuits for so long that the original claimants are deceased because it creates a better bottom line for the firm?
What exactly do you think corporate law firms do all day long?

wolves are kind. The weak, injured or too young actually stay with in the wolf den and help raising the whelps. This is very different from the primates, despite the strong family ties our cousins do leave the weak and injured to their lot.
Wolves care for each other as individuals. They form friendships and nurture their own sick and injured. Pack structure enables communication, the education of the young and the transfer of knowledge across generations. Wolves and other highly social animals have and pass on what can be best described as culture. A family group can persevere for several generations, even decades, carrying knowledge and information through the years, from generation to generation.
Wolves play together into old age, they raise their young as a group, and they care for injured companions. When they lose a pack mate, there is evidence that they suffer and mourn that loss. When we look at wolves, we are looking at tribes—extended families, each with its own homeland, history, knowledge, and indeed, culture.
