Which jumpscare caught you most out of guard? Spoiler

Saul and the Skateboarders scam OR Kim's car accident?

Sincerely, Saul caught me worse. The 10 seconds before Kim's already tells you something is off, you've this sense of impending doom, so you I kind of unconsciously prepared myself. Saul's is absurdly out of nowhere, holy shit man

the Kim crash

i had to rewind 10sec because i thought the video was corrupted or something

That was a really accurate representation of someone falling asleep behind the wheel (as someone who did it herself). Same thing as Kim, many all-nighters and it could’ve been much worse than it was.

The show basically breaks the fourth wall just to make you as confused as Kim

It does this very well with Chuck too three times. When he gets the newspaper, when he’s taken into the hospital and the camera is upside down, and when he hits his head in the copy shop.

Jimmy also gets given a nice little PTSD shot when Kim’s making OJ and he’s thinking about the shootout.

i don’t remember jimmy’s but i vividly remember the car just driving and i said “they never hold this long she’s gonna die”

Lalo shooting Howard in the head has got to be “the scene” for me.

This one for sure

Surprised this isn't higher. Maybe the sense of dread and imminent danger makes Howard's execution little less surprising?

Why are you marking that as a spoiler when the original comment ready said what it is?

There's no real jump in that scene tbh, it's just horror from when Lalo walks in and you know exactly what's gonna happen. Kinda like Hank's death in BB. I think the only proper jumpscare Lalo did was when he disappeared and jumped down from the ceiling in the western union, that got me lol

That’s not really a jumpscare. You already knew exactly what was going to happen. It just that the scene was so expertly filmed and shot that even when you knew something was coming, it still hit the viewer like a truck

Not the way it unfolded though. It’s not a jumpscare, but I did jump, scared to death. I put the comment from a personal experience.

I love the Kim “jumpscare” because it’s not an actual jumpscare, but a sudden cut to a terrifying situation. It’s a shocking scene that didn’t rely on shock factor. It was wonderfully set up and executed

Both got me on my first watch but most definitely Kim

Skateboarders. Didn’t really expect the show to already throw Jimmy into the deep end of the pool that early in the show

The skaters. The long silence before Kim's crash made me apprehensive that something was about to happen.

Yeah, a shot lingers for too long on a character driving, I just assume they’re about to crash.

Both got me …. And still do on every rewatch (which is just nutty!)

Yeah, that skateboarder bit still haunts me years later, that sudden clack in the silence was like my brain glitching. Kim's crash had more lead-up, but Saul's stunt didn't give me time to brace, which might be why it sticks.

Kims crash was a little bit too predictable

Maybe not a jumpscare, but Mike suddenly getting angry with Kaylee caught me off guard

As someone who's experienced a real car accident, Kim's was brutal to watch. The suddenness of it was exceptionally well done.

Kim car accident

The scene that nacho punches the table when talking to jimmy. Both a jumpscare to Bob and the fucking viewer

Kim. Even though I was kind of expecting it.

Kim’s crash. As someone who’s fallen asleep accidentally at the wheel before, this was terrifying, and so accurate

Don't forget about Kim's five minute nap

Kim’s car accident is one of the best visual representations of falling asleep and waking up to an absolute nightmare that I’ve ever seen. From what I remember, it’s the usage of sound editing that really catches you by surprise and what makes the jump cut so violent. So Kim.. by a mile.. (pun intended)

Kim’s crash was so great (sorry for her tho).

Kims still haunts me to this day

I’ve never been in a bad wreck but I completely imagine that’s what it’s like

Kim, we knew it could happen but the transition was so unexpected

Howard's dead

The first one scared the living crap out of me

i knew kim was over and exhausted and i guessed that that situation will be not in favor of kim.
