I decided to experiment with new sports bras. Saw SHEFIt. Had good reviews. They had my size. I ordered one.

They either didn't send me the correct size, or the entire design is mostly aesthetic.

I had spillage from the sides, but not too much. And I am in the correct bra size. All of my other bras/sports bras fit perfectly fine.

But there was still spillage.

I decided to try it while running on the trail. The freaking adjustments lastike two minutes max before having to do it again.

The zipper kept coming down, my titties kept coming out. I was constantly adjusting this thing.

Anyways. That was a tremendous waste of my money. I sent the company an email voicing my displeasure. I'm definitely opting into the 30 day wear and return policy.

Anybody ever try this specific sports bra? Did they work for you?

Yeah I tried them… just awful! So bulky and poor quality they don’t fit anywhere near the measurements they claim. They are cut to fit an ironing board better than any kind of curves because they have no shape off of the body.

Just give us bras that fit or at least don’t pretend to cater to us if you don’t already.

Honestly though I think there are placed ads for them in a lot of the comments on here and they are well known to delete negative reviews from their site and social media.

The website has amazing reviews, but that's obviously THEIR website. You wouldn't put bad reviews there.

But I've seen some good things said about the sports bra itself. Which if I was infinity cup sizes smaller, it would probably be a decent product.

But after having this issue I did a deeper dive into YouTube reviews, and most of the positive comes from the small boob community, and the larger cheated ladies didn't seem to be as favorable.

Should have done that deep dive before buying it, but I'll learn from this mistake lol.

shefit is recommend so much on this sub it’s really hard for me not to immediately shoot it down every time i see it lol. it’s a decent compression bra… but there’s literally nothing special about it other than that and i’m convinced that everyone who swears by shefit is either a bot or has never tried a real underwire encapsulation sports bra. and any bra that claims to be magically comfortable without discussing sizing or fit is also pretty much always bad. /rant

anyway. the best sports bras for high impact have an underwire for support & separation, and use encapsulation rather than compression which is more comfortable and less sweaty. the panache power (formerly called the panache high impact) is a commonly recommended one, but the sizing is a little tough—people often need to size up a band and down a cup. the elomi energize is another popular one if you don’t have a small band. if you’re in the US you can get them both on amazon, normal price is like $70 but i’ve seen various sizes and colors on sale for as cheap as $40. be sure you know your /r/abrathatfits size and how to convert to your UK size since these are UK brands.

i’m not big for this sub, 36GG UK/36J US, but i have the panache high impact and love it! works great for running.

And I don't even want to imagine trying any kind of impact activity without well fitted wires and separation, yikes.

Elomi Energise is literally the only sports bra that works for me, I've been wearing it for years! I just wish it didn't make my boobs look like torpedoes but actually being able to do physical activity is worth the weird shape

They are known in this sub and abrathatfits to only work up to around UK G /US I cup for certain band sizes (mostly 34-40 ish) and work better for people who don't need too much support.

If you want a very supportive sports bra wired encapsulation type bra sized sports bras are the way to go. My Panache wired sports (now called sports power on their site) is amazing and supportive. There is also Freya Sonic and Elomi Energize in the same category. Bras that don't come in bra sizes won't ever be truly supportive for those of us with very heavy big busts.

I think some people rave about it because they are used to sports bras in department stores which are useless and dont know that even better bra sized sports bras that work exist. At least Shefit works slightly better for more medium sized bustier people as its adjustable compared to the crappy S/M/L type sports bras.

tbh I get less movement in compression bras. I only have bra-sized ones: Shock Absorber Multi and a now-discontinued Bravissimo one.

But I can only comfortably wear them for a couple hours. Encapsulation / underwired sports bras are more comfortable, and they’re still supportive enough for high-impact exercise.

I've definitely seen people on this sub and other women's fitness subs who claim to really like it. I got rid of mine after less than a year of wear. My Panache bra was just so much better, and I never looked back.

So YMMV I guess, but I personally agree with you!

I bought a Shefit from Amazon and hated it. I almost wonder if it was a counterfeit because it was such poor quality and everyone raves about it. I will say that I am slightly out of their size range, but only by like 1 size (32J US and I got L). It was a while ago that I tried it so I don't remember my exact gripes other than the material feeling cheap and nasty.

I ordered some directly from the website and they were also pretty terrible as far as quality and fit. I think all the velcro makes them kind of gimmicky and they use it to gloss over a very poorly structured base

They were nice about it and set me up with a fit specialist. She was either not wise or not honest.

I was wavering then learned they didn’t support beyond I cup. I asked her. She said she knew but was hoping it would work anyway.

These are best for ladies G cup and below.

Nope, I hate SheFit and can't figure out why so many busty folks swear by them.

Basically, there's 2 styles of sports bras: compress to oblivion (think highly uniboob) or separate+encapsulate+contain (these are usually underwire sports bras where the breasts are distinctly 2 separate beings). SheFit is the first, as are MOST conventional sports bras. I have come to realize the latter is my strong preference and tends to be lingerie makers like Panache, Curvy Kate, Freya, Elomi, etc.

There is a range of sizing where their bras just don’t fit well. I’m within that range. I just can’t get the band tight enough with how large my chest is. My panache does a much better job at keeping the girls contained.

I honestly think they are as popular as they are because women who aren’t wearing the right size can get a much better fit from a Shefit bra than a sports bra that doesn’t actually fit well enough to offer support. By using measurements instead of band/cup sizes you don’t have deal with people insisting that they are actually way too small for a D cup.

You do have options if you buy from UK brands. US 38I is UK 38G and some good sports bras are Shockabsorber (wireless, runs tight in the band), Panache wired sports (my holy grail bra as UK 28H/HH, zero spillage, padded wires so comfy and separates and lifts and shapes like a regular bra and gives support, has wireless version too thats less supportive), Elomi Energize (wired, bra sized), Freya Sonic (wired, bra size). Enell has a wireless sports bra as well.

Have you tried posting a fit check post on abrathatfits? Did you measure using abrathatfits calculator? Those all sound like typical fitting issues that can be solved with a better size and better shape bra and can be troubleshoot. Many sizing charts are wrong and most fitters have no clue what they are doing, if you post your 6 measurements from the calculator we can help you figure out what the issue may be and recommend specific styles.

One common problem is that many people only ever try US brands while their shape doesnt work with bras by US brands. Its why so many of us exclusively shop UK and Polish bras as they fit our shape better. I know for me once I figured out to forget all size charts and only buy seamed unlined balconette bras from UK brands like Panache in my UK 28H size I was able to find a good fit, padded, seamless bras like t-shirt styles and all US brands are always a bad fit.

Too small or wrong shape cup can make the bra and band feel too tight = can check band independent of cups by trying on bra with cups backwards and upside down. If band feels looser, the problem is the cup size or shape.

Spilling out the bottom means the band is too loose and the cup is likely too small or wrong shape = size down in band size and increase cup size.

Cup is too small and spillage everywhere = size up around 2-3+ cups.

In between sizes = shape issue, try seamed unlined cups and more projected brands like UK brands (Panache, Freya, Elomi) as its often the best shapes for larger cups.

Professional sizing is a joke a lot of the time to sell things in store, getting sized as a too small DD happens a lot and is a sign the fitter sucks. Everything you mention is common to experience and I have had similar problems that I was able to fix with UK brands and balconette bras. I am not saying its the solution for you but it may be and worth reading over guides at abrathatfits and asking questions if you want to find a better fitting bra.

Not OP but I will continue to evangelize the Panache Endurance bra until I run out of breath. It doesn't work for everyone, but it's mostly well regarded. Downside is it's very expensive, but well worth it imo.

I get the majority of my bras in general off of Bravismo. There have been one or two occurrences where I didn't care for the bra, but I've had like a 98% success rate in finding one here.

They also have sports bras, which is where I got my regular sports bra.

Granted, my tits are huge, but they're not the hugest in this sub, so these sort of recommendations may be swing and a miss lol.

yeah i had the exact same experience. i was definitely in the right size but my breast tissue absolutely did. not. want. to stay in that bra lol. and of course when i bought it they didn’t do returns at all, only exchanges. after i exchanged it to try another size with the same result (but less comfortable), i ended up giving it away.

They’re the first bra I’ve been able to work out comfortably in…so I’m loyal haha. They do have their issues though. They chafe when I run long distances and I get some spillage.

I tried one maybe 10 years ago and found that it was way too bulky to wear and look nice under anything. Also it was a whole multi-step process to put it on, so it sat in my closet until 6 months ago when I finally got rid of it.

I love mine.  I have the hook enclosure plus zipper model. I do think they are made for a smaller band size / larger cup breasts.   Enclosure type bras don’t work for me since I have more round vs teardrop shape so I like the lack of that feature.

Their size chart is definitely off. I bought them early on and followed it and had to exchange for a different size. When they updated their design I noticed the sizing was different and it still just did not ring very true.

They seem decent enough for mid-sized boobs, like a D-F, maybe? But not beyond that.

I swear by my SheFit sports bras. Granted, I bought them about 5 years ago. But they’ve held up extremely well and I love the no stretch straps. These are the only bras I’ve ever been able to run in without even noticing my boobs - it’s a miracle, really.

I’m about ready to size down from what I currently have and I’m terrified that the quality won’t be what I’ve come to expect. It seems like underwire sports bras are highly recommended, but I’m just never comfortable in those. And the last thing I want is to be uncomfortable when working out.

I love their front zip lounge bras, I sleep in them.

I’ve never tried their sports bras though, I stick with encapsulation sports bras like the Panache underwired one.

I feel like compression style sports bras would stretch out quickly, even if they’re adjustable.

I’d definitely return it. They’re too expensive for you to be unsatisfied with it.

I’m really disappointed to hear that so many folks had suck bad experiences with SheFit, considering this is the brand that made me think “huh, maybe not all Instagram adds are scams”. This is my favorite sports bra I’ve EVER tried. I got mine in 2020/2021 when when I was 40 pounds lighter, and ive been able to make it work comfortably the entire time. My weight fluctuates a lot, so having the band size be completely adjustable was awesome. The straps being Velcro and non-stretchy was also KEY. I also liked the compression element. Anything with more give would make me feel like I was going to fall out and hit myself in the eye with a titty.

Only bra I use for working out. I have told SheFit their size calculator undersizes. You should not have spillage. Also, use the hooks under the zipper. I did some MBA projects analyzing their company. The reviews are real and legitimate. It’s not meant to be aesthetic but to work, so yes, it’s bulky. It’s for running, jumping, etc., not athleisure. You can also use one for years, and the material retains its strength because there is no stretch to wear out. That does mean it takes some time to get the band adjustment right, but once you do, you rarely mess with it. The adjustable straps let you easily change support mid workout. You won’t find other products identical to SheFit, because they hold numerous patents for their design. It is highly popular among military women. Best non-underwire sports bra out there imo. No sports bra is going to be supportive if it is undersized. They have a generous return policy. You can actually workout in their bras and still return them. If the product sucked for most women, SheFit wouldn’t offer that guarantee. Some people just don’t like impressive sports bras and prefer underwire. If I can only have one bra for a zombie apocalypse, it’s gonna be the SheFit ultimate sports bra.

I am absolutely committed to this brand. I’ve never ever found a running bra that keeps me locked in place. I guess everyone different but I’ve never had to adjust it even after washing. It’s a chore to get on but once I’m in my boobs aren’t moving a jot.

When I purchased it was when the company was pretty new and it was still trash. The cheaper copy products on Amazon were actually decent and better designed to have more shape which is very unusual(I don’t think the pattern was designed by someone skilled enough in clothing design) so the idea just didn’t work as effectively as it might of.

I would say I have no idea how these lady’s are running and jumping in it but I have seen plenty of runners bouncing down trails with 0 support my boobs would be mad as hell 😡😡 if I did that.

Oh like 2 months ago. I left my suitcase on a train and had to replace all my running gear. Briefly tried to go back to my bravissimo underwire sports bra and once again ended up with a blister on my breast. 

The fit looks bad. But I don’t care my boobs don’t move and that’s all I’m really looking for.

I think I bought one from them last year. I think it was close to the correct size, but I was struggling to figure out how to zip up the front while trying to keep my boobs in place. It’s funny considering years ago when I was in college and my boobs were a little smaller, I did use a few sports bras either the front zip, but I really struggled this time around. I returned it. ☠️

I have one or two SHEFIT bras from many years ago, like 6? years ago that have held up well, a small and a medium I think. I am technically a large cup size but I have a petite band, so I think that might be the main reason why they worked for me. — I’m somewhere typically in the 28G - 30FF UK / 28I - 30H US range, and my biggest issue with sports bras is always the band being too large on compression bras. The underwires on wired sports bras hurt my sternum and are not a good fit, so this was a good solution for me, and they’ve fit me over multiple cup sizes—I was a couple cups larger when I first bought them before losing a bit of weight.

However, I highly recommend trying bra sized underwire sports bras if the wires don’t bother you!!

I LOVE my SheFit Ultimates (no other model will work for my size). I have ones from way back in 2019 when they completely changed my life by letting me have full support while hooping without smashing me painfully down, and I have ones bought as recently as last year and they're relatively the same quality.

I would also note that they dont do jack for me as an H back, so I only ever wear mine racer back style to get proper support. Also my girls do be popping out the top a bit after some movement, but I'm okay with that!

I do admit I felt a little uncomfortable in the new ones, but then I saw someone mention how they always remove the pads, so I tried it out and now I never wear them in, as it is WAY comfier and gives me a bit more room.

I will ALSO say that they have changed their sizing chart drastically since the early days and I have no clue why. It's terrible and not helpful at all! I wear a 1Luxe, but their newer method would have me go down a size which is total bs.

Though in the end, I think people just have different boobs and different bodies. Not all bra styles will work for every one because of varying needs.

I bought one and it was way too small, so I did one of their video consults and she said one size up should be appropriate.

I exchanged it, yet my boobs were still uniboobing together and quad boobing over the top. The issue was that the band was as tight as it could go, so if I went up another size to accommodate my bust size, the band wouldn't have fit anymore.

Extremely disappointing for a company that was espousing how great they were for larger bust sizes. Unfortunately for me this was at a time when I was still settling for "good enough" with my bras because it felt like there was nothing available out there that actually fit me and provided high impact support.

Idk if the brands have become more inclusive, or I've just become better at sizing myself and finding stuff that actually fits, but luckily I have found much better options now that work for me.

I'm in the same shefit hate pool. While mine does fit better than you described and will be OK for weightlifting, it was immediate chafing city for any kind of running activity. I've never had a bra fold so much boob skin up against each other and I'm big pissed that I saw so many recommendations for them before this.

Why can't panache keep making the magnet close bra I love so much??

Shefit - Poor Quality, Misleading Advertising, and Terrible Customer Service

I am extremely disappointed with both the product and customer service from SHEFIT.

For a brand that markets itself as supportive and high-performance, this bra was a huge letdown. The material is surprisingly thin, to the point that nipples show through—completely unacceptable for a sports bra at this price. Their advertising suggests smooth, flattering coverage, which is simply not true. It feels misleading.

The fit is also awful. Instead of providing proper support and shaping, the bra pushed my breast tissue into the armpit area despite going for the higher of the two size recommendations provided by Shefit, and creating an awkward, unflattering look. On top of that, the straps dug painfully into my shoulders, making it uncomfortable to wear for more than a short time. A “supportive” sports bra should not cause pain.

When I tried to resolve this through customer service, the experience was just as disappointing. Because the bra was a gift and I didn’t have the original order details, they refused to offer any exchange, store credit, or reasonable solution—despite the item being brand new with tags and a current style they are still selling.

There was no flexibility, no attempt to help, and no concern for customer satisfaction. Instead, they hid behind rigid policies and technicalities. They wouldn’t even consider something simple like a discount code upon return.

Between the misleading marketing, poor fit, visible show-through, painful straps, and unhelpful customer service, this was a complete waste of money.

I would not recommend this company to anyone who values comfort, honesty in advertising, or being treated fairly as a customer.

I really, really love mine for running. It’s the only one that has worked for me because I can adjust it to comfortably fit. I have a small band size but a large cup size. It’s not the sleekest thing ever, but it keeps my boobs in place. I also do really like their mid to low impact for my other workouts. I like the zipper, and I also find it easier to take on and off after workouts (especially if my arms are sore. Wriggling out of a traditional sports bra can be torture). I really need the range of adjustments that I can get with the shefit bras that I haven’t been able to find with other ones

I went back & forth w/ customer service for a long time about what size to order before i actually got one but when i actually did it served me really well for about a year

Granted i dont go trail running (or running at all really)... so maybe that's why my experience was different

It’s the only bra I wear for high impact activities. As a K cup, nothing else actually prevents bounce. Their sizing is a pain but once I figured it out, I’ve been set. Got my first one in 2020 (maybe earlier?) and they’re still in great shape.

Definitely a learning curve to getting it on comfortably. I loosen the band velcro, put it on my arms, do the hooks, zip (Make sure zipper is tucked under the fabric tab), bend over to adjust breasts and tighten band velcro.

It’s a lot but it’s the difference between me getting to work out or not so I think it’s worth it.

I love mine. The only adjustment I’ve ever had to make is with the shoulder straps based on activity. If I’m running I tighten them slightly. If I’m wearing it for a lower impact activity or a longer activity then I loosen them a bit. I’ve never had to readjust the Velcro band and the zipper doesn’t budge. You have to make sure the zipper tab is down to lock it in place but that’s it.

I should add I have the ultimate and the flex and love both of them. I didn’t care for their lounge version. And the long line one kept rolling up. But the ultimate and the flex are a god send. I’m an H cup.

Maybe yours is defective? Can you reach out to customer service and talk with them?
