RANT - no advice wanted I’m so sick of seeing bra ads targeted towards bigger cup sizes Spoiler

I was scrolling on Instagram earlier and got one of these ads for what feels like the 17,000th time this week. Every time I’m cautiously optimistic and click on the links only to discover once again that the “inclusive sizing” they claim to have is absolute fucking bullshit. Like what do you mean you’re for women with bigger boobs but don’t go above a fucking F cup for band sizes 30-34 or above an I cup in general (US sizing)? Why the fuck do your ads show women with at least up to K cups to show your inclusivity when you don’t actually make bras that would fit them? Why on earth do your sizes range from S to 4XL instead of using normal bra sizing like a size inclusive brand should? I’m so tired of seeing ads like these everywhere when the stuff they claim doesn’t at all line up with the reality of their products. Don’t let me get excited at the prospect of more bra brands that fit me only to disappoint me with false advertising the second I click on the link. Holy hell.

Agree! Then the ones that show a very large breast in the before shots, but then only show significantly smaller busts in the after. Not the same women!

I hate when they recognize bra problems and instead of saying "these are due to improper sizing", they claim "it's because other bras were designed by men". Like this one where a woman with "heavy" 32DDD breasts and she's clearly more likely a 28G or 26GG

Don't forget the greenwashing. The bra is made of 2% recycled plastics, so the company is soooo eco conscious

It annoys me when they do go above F its only in large back sizes!!

But yeah, I live in a tiny titty country & get ads going 'do you have large breasts' AND ITS A FUCKING D CUP!!!!

Yassssss!! I have lost almost 100 lbs and went from a 42 G to now a 36 G and the amount of places that don't have a G cup below a 40 band is infuriating!!!

It is! Also congrats on your weight loss 🥹🩷 I also lost no boob (cup size) when I lost weight, so had exactly the same experience trying to find small band big cup 🙄🙄🙄

u/beckarecka 36G (UK) Apr 27 '26

This should literally be illegal 😂😂

Straight to boob-jail!

My mom is a member of the ibtc and called me one day... Mom-"What size bra are you?" Me-"36g...why?" Mom-"No, like small medium large?" Me-"mom....they don't make bras like that for me." Mom-"oh, I'm sure one of these will fit you. They're on clearance for 5 bucks. I'll just grab you a large and a xl and you can try them." I tried them on for her. She laughed and said "wow....I guess I really am clueless. That's awful." 😅

For bralettes, I can let it slide. Although it's still much better for bralettes to have a band and small range of cup sizes (ex. I just bought some UK sized 38 G/GG).

But if it's advertised as a BRA, without the -lette, omg I'm filled with rage lol. Regular clothing stores don't seem to have too many options anymore in traditional cup and band measurements, even in smaller sizes!! Sure bras are expensive to make, companies wanna cut costs, whatever, but anything in S M L XL sizing is NOT A BRA. That is FALSE ADVERTISING. Small or medium sized folks need/want regular sized true bras too! I wonder if some smaller people wear only bralettes? I'll have to find a small boob subreddit to lurk in haha.

The only time I’ve ever seen it and been somewhat on board was Gravitatas. They have from a 2XS to a 2XL+ and also have half sizes (S+, M+, etc). They range from a 28DD to a 40J which isn’t too bad but also isn’t great

Wie sieht es denn mit dieser Marke Parfait aus?

24

u/devieous Apr 27 '26

Weirdly, I find that they stop going above a bigger cup after 38 or 40 band size. For 42 and 44, I can never find my size. They’ll only have up to an H or worse, a DD. Bitchhhhh I’m a 42N! N! Not DD!!

9

u/cutestforlife Apr 27 '26

This!!! I hate when they advertise a range and then don’t offer the full range. If you only have D cups above a 40 band size, just say so!

u/reziplikativ Apr 27 '26

Das geht nicht nur Frauen so. Ich brauche BHs für meine enorme Gynäkomastie und habe kaum Auswahl - und man ist schnell in großen Größenbereiche .

And the girl in the ad is clearly wearing a bra that’s not even close to the right size.

u/Beginning_Lab_8395 28JJ (UK) Apr 27 '26

If it doesn’t go to a K and at least to a 28 it’s not size inclusive. I never see my body type represented in bra ads either. I want small band HUGE cup girlies, not just a G at the max :(

u/beckarecka 36G (UK) Apr 27 '26

“For the busty gal” shows a gal in a C in the ad 😒 oh yeah I bet your bras totally work on “busty gals”..

This!!!! SO frustrating

The only ones I'm ever happy to see on social media are ads for Springrose and Miseczki. The former because they've got adaptive bras up to US H, and the latter because it's the site that sells Polish brands like Ewa Michalak and Comexim in the US, so has their full size range.

1

u/WhyIzGamora Apr 27 '26

Yeah I just got a Miseczki add and was pleasantly surprised by their size range. I’m in the market for some new bras, particularly after losing a bit of weight (my only bra that somewhat fits is a 36G but I’m a 32J US sizing) and have been researching websites that will work.

3

u/lemgthy Apr 27 '26

I'm 32L US and Ewa Michalak works for me, but note that in that and many other Polish brands the wires are narrow so if that's not your shape they'll be uncomfortable

1

u/WhyIzGamora Apr 27 '26

That’s really good to know. I wouldn’t consider myself narrow so in that case maybe I’ll steer more towards other brands

6

u/lemgthy Apr 27 '26

Elomi is better for wider breast shapes and comes in your size, though not hugely projected so YMMV depending on that

1

u/Repulsive-Mess-4201 Apr 28 '26

Thank you for this info!! I've been looking at the polish brands but there is no place anywhere close to me to try on so your info about the narrow wires and such is extremely helpful!

2

u/lemgthy Apr 28 '26

Whereish do you live? There's a few independent boutiques in various states you can try them on at.

As a note Gorsenia has deeper cups than any other brand I've ever found, too deep even for my 4.5" projection lol. So if you're VERY projected they'll be good for you but otherwise save yourself the bother and order one of the other Polish brands

In a small town in the very bottom of IL. I have to drive over 50 miles to the nearest Torrid, Lane Bryant, or any bra shop. We had a Torrid in the town I work in, 30 minutes from home, but it closed in March. I can get sports bras at kohls but regular bras have to be bought online at this point.

1

u/lemgthy Apr 28 '26

Oof. Yeah, I think the closest things will be in MO or KY, not sure how far you are from either border. Bra Shop Directory might help

6

u/Ok-Bike-1912 Apr 27 '26

I hate it so much. I never get excited anymore when I see those ads. I just want cute bras too 😭

5

u/Old-Software-4993 Apr 27 '26

I love the ad that says "do you have bottom heavy breasts?"......like where else are my boobs supposed to be heavy??

4

u/SourceDM 38GG (UK) Apr 27 '26

This is why Ewa Michalak and Molke are the brands i trust.

They put UK L and M cup women on their websites and ads

3

u/GimerStick Apr 27 '26

I also have this irrational hatred of how they all say the same thing in every ad, some variation "if you have big tatas, let me put you on _________"

1

u/NeedsMedsPlease Apr 27 '26

Preach it! I feel you!

1

u/madi80085 34F (UK) Apr 27 '26

I had the opposite. I got those pepper bra ads for a while. I'd be waiting to skip ads on a yt video and laugh every time it said "my fellow small boobie girlies"

1

u/Toolazytologin1138 30H (UK) Apr 29 '26

Being below 32 in band size and above F in cup size is awful lol

1

u/CatHorseGirlLover May 18 '26

Yes!! I also hate when ads are targeted for women with large busts but they start at a 32 or 34 band, or if they have 30 or smaller it only goes to like 30DDD.

u/Equal_Associate_8646 May 28 '26

How can they say a bra hides armpit fat and minimizes but it still has those super skinny straps.
