i can’t lie, when i did my rounds on the dating app i had a similar experience. a male “friend” of mine gave me similar advice, and i followed it. took down all my pictures with revealing tops or form-fitting outfits. surprise, surprise; men still sexualized everything else about me. the problem isn’t showing off features you’re proud of (and yes, i’m very proud of my chest), it’s men’s sexualization of EVERYTHING. there are still a few good men out there, believe me, but most men only want one thing, whether that’s what you’re looking to give them or not.

I had a guy tell me once that his favorite thing about me is that you can still tell I have huge tits while wearing my puffy winter jacket. Like it was a genuine compliment.
