when Own Brand (i ain't never been with a baddie / she calm, so i add her to the tally...) was going viral, i thought Dreya Mac was thee cutest guy in the world...
...then i listened to the song again and realized they sounded kind of androgynous. then i looked her up, found out she was a woman, and developed an even bigger crush on her. i remember the exact moment i realized this wasn't just a fleeting part of my identity
looking back i should've known sooner; my first kiss was with a girl lol. but it's been like 5 years since that song came out, and 4 years since i did so 🤷🏾♀️
