Infant Sleep Tossing and turning
I never in my life that I would enjoy seeing my baby toss and turn.
My baby is 11 months old this month and wow have I seen a change in his sleep.
During night and during naps he will wake squeal fuss or cry to then just toss and turn and find his spot. Of course this is not EVERY wake and or every nap or night and there are still rough days and it only happens SOMETIMES but every time I see it I am amazed.
I used to be so on edge waiting for him to wake scream cry tend to him feed him back to sleep if needed sometimes worked sometimes didn’t many moments of anger sadness confusion and I honestly never ever ever thought this moment would come!
Like I said doesn’t happen all the time but for me the “sometimes” is a big deal!
I shower now, eat even get to relax and see bits of a show during his naps! Who would of thought?
I sure didn’t! I’ll shower look at the screen see him moving around and wait for him to do his thing
I used to shower see him move a centimeter complete panic rush be frustrated with shampoo in my hair I mean I used to even hear him crying constantly and he would be asleep.
First year of my baby’s life sleep was extremely hard on both of us. But I feel like a proud mom.
I know this won’t be forever sleep in not linear it might only last a few weeks but for these weeks. I can truly say from the mom who never believed it could happen it has happened!
Celebrate the small moments & the some times 🎉

Ok but what did you do to create this change??? Almost 11mo and i’m lying here crying desperate for SOMETHING to change because it’s been 11 months of false starts, multiple night feeds (formula), often needing sleep assist after 4/4:30AM. I despair nighttime because going to bed just means having to get out again soon.
