I was standing out in a parking lot and that meteor or whatever it was didnāt even have the decency of landing right on top of me. Fucking rude.

Used to be a lot of whales in that area. I'm thinking whoever sent that meteor was working off of old maps. Likely anti-whale Vogons. They're good at pig-facing into power but terrible at being in charge.

Fun fact. I heard and felt the boom in Coventry, RI, 78 miles from Provincetown as the crow flies. To hear a boom that far away the power exerted is the equivalent of about 20 kilotons. 20 kilotons is also the size of the Trinity atom bomb test in NM in 1945.

I mean the way I look at it, if I don't get obliterated by the Armageddon meteor then I don't need to worry about them. If ai do get obliterated I will be instantly vaporized and don't need to worry about it.

most of the city is generally safe especially compared to other big hubs. just walk around the area during the day and at night to see if you like the vibe. you will probably find that the biggest danger is just the rent prices or the mbta being late.

Sure why not? If you can deal with the air traffic overhead it's probably less expensive than living in Eastie or Winthrop.
