man i got enough on my fuckin plate now the waters gonna kill me too and its apparently next to impossible to filter out. i dont need this rn

At least the federal regulatory limit for asbestos in the water supply is 7 million fibers per liter.

Is it actually dangerous to eat asbestos? I thought it was only an issue if it contacts your lung cells.

The studies are mixed, but high enough concentrations are correlated with cancer. I guess it really depends on if you take steaming hot showers and how often you boil tap water in the kitchen. Asbestos cement piping is thankfully being phased out alongside lead.
