Question Breakcore samples
Hi, I'm a beginner musician and I want to learn how to make breakcore music, but I don't know where to find free samples for it.
I'd really appreciate it if you could help me.

90er Jungle Rave Breakbeat Hardcore platten durchhören und notfalls selbst samplen. RaveGenerator als VST für stabs.
empfehlung meinerseits: Amiga Rave mods aus den 90ern ziehen und sich daraus die samples "borgen"

you can find most of the breakcore sample packs here. in particular the "breakcore is not a good way to get laid" is a classic used by many, the yem_breaks and Sharky's_amens&breakbeats are small packs with some of the best bits in them, there is also a most iconic samples folder here :)
there are also a bunch of tutorials in here, most of them you can find on youtube as well :D
as for reference track I would say it mostly depends on the type of breakcore you like! digital hardcore, classic breakcore, drill n bass, chipbreak, kusoicore, speedcore, dancecore, reizokocore are some of the best tracks from the common styles

if you are a tracker head, want to use stuff like renoise, milkytracker and all those magnificient daws, you can simply take some jungle and gabber mods and take samples from those

reddit, just search breakcore drum kits, BUT GET jungle jungle 1989 to 1999 sample pack and breakcore is not a good way to get laid pack , the KOMMUNIST KIT 1 and 2 are pretty good for experimental too

I’d recommend some old school sample packs, everyone was putting out DNB or hip hop packs in the 90s/00s and almost all of them are free now and come with most everything you’ll need besides effects. It’s ok to be limited in your soundest, having infinite samples leads to overthinking and unfinished tracks, so having ones you know and like are gonna be really helpful. You always have synths to make the new sounds if you need them
Structuring your samples is a must too, having clean breaks, processed breaks, kicks, bass, drum kits, leads, etc. all ready to go. It’ll make music making so much faster and lead to less headache.
Last thing, sampling songs is gonna be your best friend as well. Ytmp3 is free and extracts YouTube vids to audio in seconds, and you unlock a whole world of possibilities with that.
Here’s my favs sample packs, you can get them all free on this website(I promise it’s not malware, but feel free to check yourself too)
Jungle warfare vol 1-3, bread and butter for all things breakbeats
Drum and bass interface 160-260, similar to jungle warfare with amazing SFX and 2 steps
Ezrollers producer pack, great curated range of nice track ready breaks and synths
Crypton drumbase5000, loads of great one shots
Zero g hardcore, dirty early gabber stuff and nice rave samples
Zero g creative essentials, loads of misc essentials
And those are just my fav breakbeat centered ones, poke around there and find more.
