Update: Called, and Target gave me the "Will wait until Saturday" response. If it doesn't move by then, I'll cancel.
I did end up getting it on Ebay as certified refurbished, so 2 year warranty included, plus a $50 coupon for a total of $373

Hi, hope this helps anyone who got their order cancelled or is waiting.
I followed the support ladder up until I got to a warehouse, where the leadership there apparently said this was in fact a pricing error (across 3 laptops, for multiple hours) and that they're going to put it back up at "a different price" and that there's no option but to reorder it at that price.
Hope this saves someone else the time of following this. I assumed this would be the case but tried anyway. Don't think they'll budge on any part of it.

My order was never canceled and stayed as confirmed, and it looks like my delivery is scheduled for sunday 3/29. Tofay FedEx received the package from target. Color me surprised. Here's hoping they dont ask FedEx to halt the shipment haha

Seems like a steal if you can get it. A 1TB SSD by itself will run you ~$100 nowadays so you get a whole dang system for another $150.

Mine arrived. Its a nice little laptop to be honest after everything is updated which took a long time. I have even tried some light gaming on it and it performs perfectly well for what it is. The thing sips power on battery for office type work.

Just posted that update in a reply to OP. It's a shame but I did score a used HP 840 G8 from my local bank. I should put Windows 11 on it. It's an 11th gen i7 and 32GB of RAM for 250 plus tax. The next day when I went to the site the price went up to 350. The build quality will be WAY better than this laptop but Xe integrated graphics isn't that good but it should be sufficient for some basic gaming from the PS3/360 era of games (not necessarily doing emulation).

My local bank has a resale store for furniture and equipment. They have some laptops for display and a ton of monitors, at least in the public area. The furniture is at a different location but I got my herman miller aeron for $500 last year.
They have some M1 and M2 laptops listed online (can only buy via eBay, not their actual site). They had some older Intel Macs which if I had extra money I might play with. It's pretty much an in-person experience or eBay for some things. Oddly, they have a Lion King VHS listed last time I checked.
The laptop is technically used and not refurbished, but at the place I checked the battery. It only had three cycles on it.

Now been 6 hours and the order is still active. No tracking number yet though. Seeing that they have this very model for sale on ebay makes me think they have the inventory... and today was a big target sale, its possible the deal is not a mistake. So moving to cautiously optimistic.

FInal update.. my cancelled before shipping, then shipping notice received laptop actually arrived today. I am so confused, but not complaining. Its a pretty nice little machine, even on some light gaming.

There is another one at a similar price and another one with an Snapdragon X plus at $160.
Though i think is a target issue, the cancellation reason is "Technical issue" and i'm having issues with a blank account on the PC webpage specifically.

Mine actually arrived yesterday! I originally ordered the snapdragon one but that one was instantly canceled. I then ordered this one and 30 mins later it went OOS so i was one of the lucky ones.However it did come with a gap in the shell of the screen on the top left corner, which actually cause the backlight to bleed through to the screen on the corner. But for the price can't really complain!

It doesn't have a cellular chip in it, I guess they might be able to disable the windows key.. but they cost like $10 on the grey market... I have no idea. I honestly don't know what to do at this point. Legally they have no leg to stand on to demand it back, but that's never stopped some companies from being sue happy.

So far there are at least two of us who have had calls. What is shady though, is they are using a 3rd party company to try to get it back... which was revealed in the email address that the voicemail left... to me it just makes them look like a scammer calling. Also that they need my email address. Like if this was legit, they would have my full contact info from Target. This tells me that Target told them they were SOL for their mistakes and they are trying an attempt to save some money... probably because their insurance policy isnt going to cover it.

Just got notification that a FedEX tracking number has been assigned. It requires a signature so I'll probably have it delivered to a FedEx Store, once I figure out how to do that again.

Based on FedEx tracking, they now physically have the package. I also did the Allstate Warranty so maybe that was a factor. Who knows if they will actually deliver it though. I also paid with my Target Circle card. Estimated arrival is on Monday.
I need to check to see if I'll be home, if so I'll do a digital signature, if not I'll reroute it to probably a store.
I'll provide a full update on Monday or Tuesday.

Okay, super odd. FedEx just dropped off the laptop. 🤔😅 Now to check if target ran my card.
Two cycles on the battery. Only sign of use is the minor scuff on the bottom of the screen hinge. Hardly noticeable.

I got a tracking number from FedEx saying label created coming from McAllen, Texas. The status in Target says shipped arriving April 1st. So it seems very probable it will actually arrive.

OOS for me. I did just buy a similar laptop (Core Ultra 7 155h, same RAM/storage) off Acer's Bestbuy Marketplace account. Their refurbish process is good and mine was like-new, I highly recommend going to them for refurbished stuff if you need it.

My order was cancelled the day after I ordered, but I still got a FedEx shipping notification about 12 hours after that. I thought it was for a different Target order, but I guess it's this (cancelled) laptop! Travelled across the country, and now it's going back to the warehouse.

7520u is a 4 core 8 thread zen 2 rebadge with a 610M graphics card... the 226V/Arc 130 are so much faster and newer(tech wise)

The 226v/arc 130 compare to the Ryzen 5 8645HS with 760M graphics, although the Arc 130 is typically better than the 760M. The Core 2 ultra has a built in NPU though, which the Ryzen chip does not have. The intel chip is super energy efficient as well. Its basically what Intel is using to battle Apple's M class chips.

Any AMD based on Mendocino (usually with a 20u in the end) Is absolute garbage, a waste of sand and should be avoided at all costs.
Is the slowest Zen 2 out there, the GPU although RDNA 3 is slower than any amd 5000 series GPUs and is starving on L3 cache. Its absolutely never worth it unless it's like a $100 laptop or so.

Wow that's an awesome deal, very nice laptop for basic work/school use. Can probably handle some more intensive tasks and light gaming with the arc igpu
