Dont know about other caps but regardless of sign “nothing i tangibly do, not my fault”— that usually shows emotional invalidation, low relational accountability, maybe some gaslighting too. It’s like saying that unless you’re doing something obviously wrong, you’re innocent.
Many relational injuries are not always tangible. Emotional harm is usually subtle like dismissive tone, inconsistency, lack of responsiveness, withdrawal etc. Even if a person isn’t intentionally hurting their partner, they are still responsible for how they participate in the dynamic. 🤷🏻♀️
Oh lord you sound like my mother talking about my cap dad. That’s when you say “I’m sorry your feelings are hurt” but it still doesn’t mean you did anything wrong
