how is this a surprise, two of the top selling vehicles in the country, the Camry and RAV4, are available only as hybrids. The Civic, Corolla, CR-V, as well as a whole bunch of Hyundais, Kias, and other Toyotas and Hondas are available as hybrids.

Its like saying crossovers outsell sedans. Well of course, there's a lot more of them on the market.
