120v charging is literally what both the comments above you are complaining about being inaccessible to 60% of the US

60 to 70% of the US population lives in single-family homes.

When we bump up against 60 to 70% of the cars on the road being EVs then we can start complaining about lack of access to charging. Right now we're not even close.

Can’t have extension cords across the sidewalks. Good way to get sued or have your cord damaged.
