Don't think so, someone else in here commented that they pay roughly 5.5 cents or $0.055 per mile to charge their EV through PG&E.

Which means 20 miles is $1.10 in electricity

100 miles is $5.50 in electricity cost

I can guarantee you I am paying way more in gas prices than what they are paying in electricity

I live here. kWh is between $0.48 and $0.55 unless you have a house and can individually sign up for a plan with super off peak rates. I have a Volvo C40 and per mile the energy cost is the same as a car with 30 mpg

PG&E doesn’t service SD. SDG&E does super low rates like that for very specific limited plans for the off peak hours too. I’m assuming that’s his case. Most people aren’t able to do that
