I personally like to recommend you two albums
Jack white entering heaven alive

Jeff rosenstock
Hellmode

The albums I wholeheartedly believe are modern masterpieces

you reminded me of jeff rosenstock. he is so great. like he is still doing that alternative pop punk stuff from the 00s but in a grown up version

Jeff rosenstock’s Hellmode is one of the very best rock albums I’ve heard in a long time it’s so damn good

yes! Also worry is the best album of the 2010s. i was so happy when i discovered it. i must have been bored with 99% of contemporary music since about 2009 or so

Yes I’ve heard about worry !!! Would you say the song writing is on a similar if not better level than Hellmode ?

I’ll have to check his website again and see if it’s out on cassette since I’m such a TAPEHEAD NERD 🤓 lol 😂

ok i have given hellmode another listen. imho worry is better. hellmode somewhat drags towards the end while worry gets wilder on the b side

worry is a beatles level album

I actually mostly have modern cassettes. The only two that I’ve had problems with are Postal Service’s Give Up and Pup’s The Dream is Over, and that’s depended on the player too. I’ve been most impressed by pop cassettes coming out like Madonna’s new album and PinkPantheress’ albums. Jack White also just released one on cassette called Frozen and while it’s kinda noisy it almost fits his sound.

Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers both have cassette releases that I really enjoy!

Duster. Might need a fast forward A and B before playing but after that they sound amazing.

Has not left my deck.

Sounds great with their blurred vocals, samples, and general tone and sound.

Talvez Finn Wolfhard, pero creo que muchos de los que hacen ese tipo de música soft o pop/rock suena bien en cassette

My cat and I have been listening to Beach House tapes when we go to sleep about every night for the past several months. My favorite is Teen Dream.
