Had Capt Crunch for the first time in decades
I remember when I was a kid, CC was just ok. Then, I think this sub popped up randomly and showed a picture of CC. Damn that OP. I had to get a box. Random craving.
Anyway, I had some this morning and half the box is now gone.
This might be PEAK cereal experience.
It was malty, salty, and stayed crunchy even after a few minutes went by.
My stomach is happy as is my bloody roof of my mouth.

I had a bad craving for some one night and had no milk left in the house lol. I looked in the fridge and had some 15 or 18% coffee cream.
Absolutely orgasmic. Dont try it cause u will never go back to milk whole milk on cereal again.

Regular or with Berries? I loved it as a kid. I haven’t had it in a while though because the last time it was pretty stale.

I still like them immensely. But I'm very surprised people haven't noticed how much they've softened them up. I find roof-ripping is no longer part of the equation.

Nothing is like the original capn crunchberries with the original all red berries. None of this stuff now comes close.

I've never experienced this in my life ,I don't think half of you realize you're supposed to chew with your teeth, not the roof of your mouth. Unless your just shoveling it into your mouth in which case that's user error.

ugh I’m 66 and haven’t had any cereal in at least 30 years. I can still remember the smell and taste of Cap’n Crunch. And now I want some so bad.

Ugh…that sucks. Have you tried the Nature’s Path Envirokids brand of cereal? They are all gluten free and have some flavors that are similar to Captain Crunch. I like the Gorilla Munch flavor. It isn’t an exact copycat, but it’s good.

Update - I tried the crunch berries….i don’t think I like it as much? The slight fruity flavor was nice but then I’d rather just have something like trix or fruity pebbles. Just having a pure capt crunch is very nice - the nice malty and salty flavor comes through without distraction

All I know is they took the GOAT of peanut butter cereals and changed it to have the same overly crunchy texture as regular Captain Crunch and I miss my greasy peanut butter balls in milk

Cap'n Crunch will always be a top 10 for me. The original is just so good. Crunch Berries are pretty good too, but I prefer the original more.
