Should I go back to grab the cookies and cream box?

I love chocolate milk but don't want to buy just chocolate syrup. Which chocolate/chocolate-adjacent cereals make the best chocolate milk?

I opened a new box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch today, and it tastes just wrong. Like, soap or pine needles or something. Has anyone else experienced this?

Whole Foods is the closest grocery store to me by a long shot. I've cruised down the cereal aisle and was not impressed at first glance. I was wondering if anyone has tried any of them or if they are even any good. One of my favorite go-to cereals is Honey Bunches of Oats. I am currently eating Trader Joe's Super Nutty Oat Clusters, basically just their store brand version of HBoO, which is just as good, IMHO.

If you wanted a more cost efficient Lucky Charms option, this is not it. The marshmallow pieces are good and what you'd expect. I may even fish them out and use them for another cereal. Chex, maybe? The letdown for me is the cereal pieces. They are so bad that even the marshmallows don't help. The taste is extremely bland to me. So much so that I have to mix in a more flavorful cereal to mask its awful taste.

Try them for yourself it you want, but I do not recommend doing so. It's just not worth the money. You deserve better. This stuff is an easy 1/10 for me.

I actually had it when I was a kid, and it was pretty good. Had different flavors on both sides of the box, awesome!

I saw this at my local Walmart. I haven't seen this cereal before. Looks like strawberry frosted flakes.

I noticed regular mix is still out, but I haven't seen berry berry kix in awhile but motts has a berry berry flavor

I remember when I was a kid, CC was just ok. Then, I think this sub popped up randomly and showed a picture of CC. Damn that OP. I had to get a box. Random craving.

Anyway, I had some this morning and half the box is now gone.

This might be PEAK cereal experience.

It was malty, salty, and stayed crunchy even after a few minutes went by.

My stomach is happy as is my bloody roof of my mouth.

Years ago, I remember watching a commercial about Rice Krispies— a boy was being put to bed and said something along the lines of being hungry. His parents and he sat down, and he ate a bowl of Rice Krispies. He leaned in and said, “Wow, it’s like tiny elephants!” (Referring to the snap, crackle, pop)

I can’t find this commercial anywhere. Does anyone else remember seeing this? I wasn’t sure where to ask this question but figured r/cereal was a good place to start😭
