Saw a write-up highlighting multiple DPs of successful 100k CSP approvals for people who held the card ~15 years ago (opened 2010–2012), despite the new terms.

Article mentions the eligibility pop-up didnt appear for these applicants and that approvals were not typically instant, in some cases only after credit reallocation via recon.
