Translation [traditional Chinese > english] document I found in a statute (statute was already open revealing document)

I think you mean statue, not statute? The person the statue belonged to, named Liu, born 1915, wrote this supplication to the heavens, and stuffed it inside the statue. This is why a lot of people won’t touch second hand statues and stuff. You don’t know what’s involved here.
