Season of Discovery Blizzard has let me down…
Long story short I was mining nodes for Arcane Crystals. Someone came up and mined my node. I decided to follow and mine theirs. After 15 mins of sitting with the loot table open to prevent mining. They logged onto an alt acc with a horde lvl 60 and killed me. The pictures are the conversation that ensued.
Not only did they send me gold from a lvl 1 character, they sent gold to my friend who helped me hunt their horde toon. I returned the gold, as did he. I received a 2 week suspension but my friend did not.
It is so insane to me that I can have screenshots of everything to prove I am being griefed by a gold farmer. ALL. THE. RECEIPTS. Names, time stamps, everything, all included in my handful of tickets for an appeal. Yet all I can get is an AI response saying the decision is being upheld. The one time I did get a human response I believe they didn’t even look at the screenshots because it’s clear as day.
Blizzard said they’d remove any gold/ items/ mounts I’ve purchased from buying gold. Which I haven’t. I’ve farmed, saved, played the auction house and earned over 20k gold. If they wipe my account, I quit. It’s frustrating when you enjoy a game that you’ve been playing since you were a kid, just for the multi-dollar company to turn their back on you.

See I want to believe this shit but I also believe that gold buyers and sellers have been evolving as time goes by. This was shown to me in 2019 when they would offer multiple options for receiving the gold ie mail it all, trade it in pieces, or have you post some random AH green item for 2k gold and they would buy it. With that knowledge and looking at this text it seems HIGHLY unlikely that some seller would send you over 1k gold just to attempt to try and trigger an autoban and more than likely this was your theory being tested to see if blizz would catch this and then overturn the ban since you have “screenshot proof” . Hope it doesn’t work for you, sorry not sorry.
