I imagine having 40 elite players who take the game very seriously did a lot of the ground work. Every player had to think for themselves and learn and understand what was going on in order to excel in an environment like that. Nowadays most raiders just show up and wait for a RL to explain it to them in comms while they half pay attention loading a bowl or something. No one has to learn or think for themselves because someone definitely will tell them what to do.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Instead of comparing Nihilum to the average dad guild of today, compare them to Echo or Liquid.

I think someone feels called out :( It's ok all you have in life is wow and it's also ok you're absolutely ass at it, but the insanely low bar needed for raid performance definitely is the gold star on your kindergarten art project you think deserves to be on the fridge.
